  1. “The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can “throw the rascals out” at any election without leading to any profound or extreme shifts in policy.”

  2. This was Hegel’s idea, Thesis, Antithesis, Synthesis. Works perfectly, against us, due to our Prussian based government indoctrination centers. We have a lot to overcome.

  3. Those posters are pretty much spot on. The coming election, if Romney is indeed the Republican nominee, will be the total farce it’s been for decades, or longer.

    Secession. It’s the only answer.

  4. Vote for something instead of against something, which is going to be my mantra now. Thinking of the entire leadership topic that has been bounced around, why not start a candidate? Since the concept of a Sinn Fein has been bounced around lately with the desire to have a Gerry Adams. Then start one or join a party that is established like the Constitutional or Libertarian parties. Or come up with a name for a party and a platform. Just a thought.
