Barnhardt: Romney Caves

From Ann Barnhardt:

ROMNEY DIDN’T EVEN LAST A WEEK
POSTED BY ANN BARNHARDT – JULY 3, AD 2012 2:00 PM MST

As promised, Romney has folded on ObamaCare too, although had I wagered money on the timing. I would have thought that he would have lasted at least a week. But apparently the revenue curve from stupid, imbecilic suckers giving Romney money in the wake of the SCOTUS decision fell off hard enough that the Romney people felt that it served no more purpose to perpetuate the repeal charade.

Here’s the link.

I hope every single one of you who gave that forked-tongued jackass money feel the full shame and embarrassment of your own gullibility and obtuseness. This slackjawed sentimentalism WILL BE THE DEATH OF ALL OF US. Your rah-rah loyalty to con-artists who wrap themselves in platitudes so that you can have a “team” that makes you feel good about yourself isn’t noble or admirable. It is nauseating and disgusting. It is truly sickening to see people elevate false sentiment over truth – all for the sake of a truly shallow SOCIAL EXPERIENCE.

Ignorance is one thing.

Abject stupidity in the face of mountains of pounding evidence is another.

- Romney wrote and implemented ObamaCare’s template in Massachusetts.

- RomneyCare destroyed the Massachusetts economy. Romney refuses to this day to acknowledge that there is anything wrong with RomneyCare, or the economic damage it had done and continues to do to Massachusetts.

- Romney’s top aides and inner circle were frequent visitors to the White House and were instrumental in the drafting of ObamaCare in 2009.

- Romney has VOCIFERICOUSLY defended the concept of the mandate that people must, as a condition of their very existence, purchase a specific commodity.

- RomneyCare funds abortion with a mere $50 co-pay and forces all people under its control to pay for contraception and sterilization, including the Church in Massachusetts.

The reason you never heard anything about this is because Archbishop Sean O’Malley is a slack-jawed idiot who is a Marxist and, like most bishops today, doesn’t actually believe in Catholicism. He’s just a narcissistic, politicking little shell of a man who is desperate for worldly approval – particularly from other men.

Sad but true. Someone needs to say this.

So, not only has O’Malley not complained about the horrors of RomneyCare, but he embraces it and supports ObamaCare. And, as a result, he still gets invited to all of the fancy parties with all of the rich, powerful men whose approval his entire existence revolves around and self-esteem depends upon. And I’m sure that he also lives in complete terror of having some rich, powerful man like Mitt Romney come up to him at a party, smile, lean in, and ask, “You don’t really believe that a piece of bread turns into God, do you?” The vast majority of bishops today are embarrassed and humiliated by the Eucharist.

Hence the entire problem. It all really does come down to that, whether you understand that or not.

Someone has to say it.

- Mitt Romney will never, ever repeal ObamaCare. The Congress will never, ever repeal ObamaCare. The only way to get rid of ObamaCare is a junta or civil war and the establishment of the Second American Republic.

The First American Republic is dead, and it is never, ever coming back.

I will not be celebrating Independence Day tomorrow, because to do so would be utterly hypocritical and a lie. The First Republic is dead, and to pretend that it isn’t only feeds and enables the usurpers and tyrants who are desecrating its corpse in order to give themselves the appearance of legitimacy.

If I live to see the establishment of the Second American Republic, THAT date will I observe.

The Black American Flag, flown in distress, is my flag now.

  1. Celebrate Independence Day at the Range… everyday from 4 July to 11July (National Training Week) – do not let the jack-asses wear you down… prepare – prepare – prepare…. and know who you are and what you will do… what you will risk… what you will kill or die for… learn it – know it – live it.

  2. I haven’t completely lost hope yet. As an academic question, I am not certain that the mandate is a tax. After all, 4 conservative justices also didn’t see the constitutional power to tax argument. Romney is not ideal, but Obama is an evil thing and we must rid ourselves of it. If it Romney is that vehicle, then I will vote for Romney.

  3. You are facing two identical cars; a Red one and a Blue one. Sleek, fast, attreactive. You must choose to ride in one or the other.
The Red one will be driven my Mitt Romney; the Blue one by Prez Obama.
The Blue car will fly down the road at 125 mph and crash into a brick wall. You and the President will die a firey, gooey death.
The Red car will fly down the same road but only at 110 mph, crashing into the same brick wall where you and Mitt will die a firey gooey death.
Same fatal eventuality waits for America. The only difference is the color of the car and the milisecond difference in destruction.
Go ahead. Vote for Romeny. You most definitely will be rid of Obama.
But there is that inconvenient brick wall……..

      Fail!
      I will ride in neither.
What causes people to become this way?

You need to figure out that the only difference between Mooslims and Katholicks is that the Katholicks wear cooler robes………….the male types do, anyway

Wow, and behind curtain #3 we have Revelation, somebody just saw the light! Congratulations.

I keep reading here about how bad Romney is. Can agree in that. But some of the Romney bashing comes from people who go beyond that. Seems as there is some principle involved to not push the pencil on the paper ballot for the lesser of the two evils.

Voting only takes five minutes or less where I live. It is a chance to say hello again to the same neighbor poll watchers, and to visit with whatever neighbors might be around at the same time. That’s my voting precinct, it’s about frontier style. I like my polling place. If you don’t like yours, then hmmm, maybe your locale may provide you worse life news than a bad polling place. The polling place reflects the neighborhood, being in that place is a life choice just like any other.

Consider the combo of ignorant whites educated beyond their level of intelligence and with a guilt complex who voted for the first black president, alongside with principled people who refused to vote for McCain. That combo has worked out swimmingly so far, hasn’t it. Now we are seeing “principled” people who won’t vote for Romney.

What troubles me, is that people who say that they won’t vote for Romney, probably live in states where such votes matter (unlike mine.)

Voting, even in bad places, is pretty easy. Absolving yerself of the guilt of voting can come easily also, in many ways. From crossing yourself, to putting …good… rounds downrange, to this nice bottled corn from Kentucky at 123 proof.

Bash Romney all you want, and I’ll agree. But if you don’t vote for him, you will just continue the FreFor circular firing squad drills. That’s not the desired outcome… or is it, for some?

Romney is not a member of FreeFor. Period.

I’m gonna type this real s-l-o-w.
If you are in favor of choosing tyrants to rule over others you have no business using the word *principle* at all.

Maybe I watched too many Twilight Zones in a row yesterday…..

You all can bemoan the loss of the Republic tomorrow, but I’ll be celebrating the spirit of the Republic, Revolution, and human individual freedom, as I have a responsibility to pass that on to my children. The Republic is dead. Up the Republic!

  7. The Apple Islander

Vote Romney! If he slows economic armageddon by even a few weeks it’ll give me a chance to get more preps squared away :)

  8. I agree, Ann, that Romney is just another elitist politician seeking more power and absolutely sure HE knows what is best for all of us. They are ALL wired that way.
Yes the “TRUE REPUBLIC” is long dead. Personalities and people in general, are also quite different today, as well. Don’t fault a coyote for being a coyote. Deal with him.
Junta or armed conflict? Not likely in this lifetime. There is far too little poverty and hunger in this country to support that type of circumstance. We, as a people, lack the will.

Will there come a day? ABSOLUTELY.

Is it coming soon? Not by the signs I read.

Do we need it? Without question.

If you were to ask the average person, one on one, “What would you do if elected and a chap showed up in your office or say on the golf course, handed you one hundred grand and said “Vote the way we say.” would you go along?” Most often the response is either ,” yes” or “ask for more money”.
Try it….you’ll be amazed at the outcome of your informal poll.

The average person has far too many wants and desires, as well as responsibilities, to embrace discomfort and self – sacrifice in the name of others. Flame me if you like, but you, Ann, know I’m spot-on.

Live your life. Make the most of your days. Worship God. Think good thoughts………….and have a stash/plan/exit.

  9. I need a good strong woman who knows right from wrong are u Available??

  10. Ah, socialized medicine. In the future, a visit to the hospital will by law be required to combine all the horrors and agonies of sickness with all the “fun” of a visit to the DMV, complete with Shaneequa, the DMV Lady telling you “we done losted yo’ papers, honky muhfugga. You gots to apply again. And if you don’t stop bleedin’ on mah desk, I’m-a call see-curity on yo’ honky racist ass.”

  11. Anyone here the teensiest-weensiest bit concerned that this is the second time Ann has mentioned a “junta”?

Word of caution: once in power, the Colonels and Generals that would be the real power behind any “junta” will NOT give it up without a fight.

Jeezus, does anyone not read history anymore? Does the phrase “crossing the Rubicon” mean nothing to supposedly educated people?
