    Revolts sometimes start over what appears to be a minor issue. The following AP story, if true & implemented, may be the spark for a third go-round.:

    Recall that the British govt’s attempt to seize the Colonist’s weapons was in response to ever increasing protests against/resistance to taxes, & that it was confiscatory taxation & property seizures arising therefrom (the “long train of abuses & usurpations”) that was the foundation. Given the Kelo decision coupled w/ the above story, the ever worsening economy, & the Imperium’s expressed intent to get the U.N. small arms treaty passed into law, it looks like the past might again be prologue.

    Not trying to take a way from the point of the article, BUT…

    Why is it that so many have to keep the word “Revolution” at the forefront of our debacle. We all know that the only viable rallying point is the Constitution (Lysander Spooner be damned). So the question of the day should be “To Revolt or Restore”. Getting the “Restoration” meme started should be the lead objective. “Revolution” has too much baggage and it doesn’t lend well to direction. But we know this already. After all, Pete has been using the “Restoration” meme here for years.

    Given what has happened in Aurora, CO, Barry and Hillary have their false flag to push through the UN Small Arms Treaty. The sheeple will go along with them, just like the Aussies did after the shooting in Tasmania. Get prepped. We will be in the minority on this gun grab very soon.

    So? We’re in the minority on just about everything we understand and believe in anyway. As you said, keep prepping.

      Mr. oughtsix: I do not know about any skunk works, but there was a CIA mind control experiment called MK ULTRA. It programmed people to committ crimes like just occurred in CO. Read the book: LEGACY OF ASHES. Art can imitate life. In Matthew Bracken’s first novel, ENEMIES FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC, elements of the BATFE find some deranged Viet Nam veteran, give him an SKS and he shoots up a sporting event. If the feds can discuss the feasibility of destroying a commercial air transport full of American citizens to start a war with Castro(I forget the name of that project), what else might they be capable of? They knew OKC was going to happen(more is coming out all the time on that horrific event).
      As we used to say in police work: “If it looks like a duck….”

        Yes, JM, I’m aware of those things you mention. It was a lame attempt at black humor, I guess. Still, it amazes me that, if indeed many or most of these incidents are orchestrated by The Dark Side, how is it that they manage them in so timely a fashion? And how is it possible to keep unstable people in check until the time is right? And just how the hell can the “lone gunman” be so perfectly unimpeachable as such?

        I do not believe in the perfection of power, perfidy and execution so often ascribed to the feral .gov. They are merely human and extremely flawed as well. Conspiracies so vast cannot be contained… they can’t kill everybody involved. Or maybe they do. The next suckers would feel just as powerful until they joined the boys from the grassy knoll, “out past Terlingua.”

        I suppose that media complicity, whether aware or willfully blind explains a good deal of it, and the feckless, cowardly Sgt Schultz sheeple.

        If you do a comparative timeline of these type of apparently non-political incidents & when ‘gun control’ is either being proposed or in the works, you notice something ‘funny’ about the timing. The Luby’s cafeteria massacre is an example of this. Note also that as soon as the legislation’s passed/defeated, the incidents kinda stop until the anti-gun/pro-thug cult/its allies are ready to push something else. The rash of school shootings got up quite a head of steam until A: It was revealed that most of the juvenile shooters were being medicated, in some cases heavily, & B: People started acting to stop the shooters by either jumping them, using a gun to disarm them w/ the threat of deadly force (“DROP THE GUN OR I’LL KILL YOU!”), or actually shooting the shooters dead w/o ‘warning’ upon arriving on scene.

        Another aspect of these events is the impact public opinion regarding ‘gun control’ as the solution to them has on their continuance. Again, the effect’s almost like a light switch: If the public’s successfully stampeded into going for whatever scheme’s being pushed by the anti-gun/pro-thug cult, click, ‘the horror’s over’, & if the same public says “Nah, not interested”, click, ‘the horror’s over’ & the cycle resets. Then there’s the post-atrocity suicidal tendency many of the shooters have that’s eerily similar to the plots of The Parallax View & Telefon which were, I assume, based on the MK ULTRA revelations.

        While correlation doesn’t necessarily mean causality, the more of these ‘coincidences’ that occur, the more I’m reminded of the comment in Goldfinger about such matters.
