The perfection of the correlation to the psychopaths running the government and financial sector is hard to improve upon. They have ZERO remorse. They are not sorry, but disgusted and indignant that they were caught, and that society has the gall to hold them to any account. They truly believe that they had not just a right, but a MORAL ENTITLEMENT to the envelope full of money because THEY WANTED IT. They further believe that since the little girl scouts were merely CUSTODIANS of the cookie money which would eventually be sent to girl scout cookie headquarters, that they, the thieves, had every bit as much right to the money as the custodial fiduciaries, the little girl scouts, and that they, the thieves, SHOULD HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO KEEP THE MONEY THAT THEY STOLE.

The United States government is a gigantic, mathematically impossible Ponzi that cannot be salvaged. It is mathematically impossible, as in the mathematics of what Romney and Ryan are saying is totally, completely mathematically impossible, as in NOT POSSIBLE MATHEMATICALLY. And they know it. Hence, they are amoral, psychopathic liars.
Even if the most morally upright and blisteringly intelligent people could magically be put in charge of the United States government and financial system, there would be NOTHING they could do to avert the collapse of the economy and the government, because the collapse is now a MATHEMATICAL CERTAINTY. All they could do would be to attempt to hold the states together, keep petroleum flowing, and try to prevent a land invasion by the Chinese and/or Russians.
Given all of this, you should be asking yourselves the question, “Why in the hell would Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Obama or anyone else want anything to do with being the Chief Executive of a nation that is inevitably going to collapse?”
The answer is:
“Basically, me and my friend, we needed some money and we saw this country, we saw a Treasury with money in it and I grabbed it and she drove away. ‘Cause we needed the money. We just wanted money. Just for anything, and it was an easy way of getting money.”
This nation cannot survive because of the people who populate it.

Ann is right in what she is saying, but I think that the remnant of this nation (a people united by heritage, history, culture, tradition, etc), wherever it can be found, can survive, even if its hopes right now are tenuous.
Its survival most definitely does depend on the collapse of this culture, and most likely this country/geopolitical entity with it, as they are somewhat symbiotic.

Yup. The true destruction of a nation is a rare thing. Germany and Japan recovered from WWII; some of the nations in Eastern Europe survived WWII and 5 decades of communist rule. South Korea survived the Japanese and the Korean War. Most peoples, unless they get genocided out of existence, will eventually recover. Sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly, but they’ll be back at some point.
You know, you guys would be better understood if you just told everyone what it is you’re talking about. Theonomy: The state being governed by G*d, or divine law. And that, AP, is why you and a couple of other guys get “raked over the coals here”. What is meant, is just as important as what is being said. Will Rogers, not Aristotle. Arctic Patriot – yes, I’m here to disagree with Ann. As I’ve said before I have a lot of respect for her as a person, her actions in closing her business at the time of the MF Global crash were laudatory.
But she is an excessively negative person. Yes, there are a lot of problems in the USA. But the society can not continue because some dumb girls are two bit theieves? Or we are to scale out from these two losers to all the other people in the USA? I raised two girls to adulthood, neither would steal girl scout cookies or anything else. Multiply by many tens of millions of families and you have a significant remnant of morality in America.
I would even hazard to guess that there are some very moral people who don’t believe in God. Like it or not atheism and agnosticism are modern philosophies which were largely unknown at the time of John Adams. I don’t believe every atheist is an amoral monster, any more that I believe that all Catholics are good and moral people. Life is not so easy. A lot of people are still religious, but have left denomination and maybe even chatechism behind. Look at the corruption of churches and it’s no wonder why.
Ann feels that there is NO WAY to fix things. That’s BS. There is always a way to fix things. Someone could come in with a goal of paying the debt and make huge strides in doing it. Or, like other countries we could selectively repudiate our debt. All debt owed by FedGov to the Fed could be elminated with one swipe of the pen. Etc.
Ann says the nation is ruined, but I’m reminded of the quote of Adam Smith: “there is a lot of ruin in a nation”. Rome survived the loss of the Republic and the conversion to empire for over 400 years in the West, and over almost 1,500 years in the East. True, it had morphed into something not quite recognizable as the Republic of Rome in the latter case.
Argentina has been through, what, a currency collapse per decade for 40 years now. And horrible mis-government, liars and demagoges as President, now a hard leftist, then a hard rightist. And still, Buenos Aires is a decent place to visit. The food I had there two years ago was exellent, the streets full of life, the shops full of goods. The Argentinian leather work still impressive.
OK, Ann kinda gets this. She says: “there is no possible way this nation can survive in its First American Republic form.” Wake up call: the First American Republic has been dead since the CIvil War. The Second American Republic has been dead since FDR and the New Deal. Perhaps the third American Republic, the New Deal States of America with it’s signature Socialist programs is coming to an end soon too. That doesn’t mean the nation is coming to an end, anymore than the imposition of unity on the legitimate and legal desire of the Southern States to leave the assosciation they had joined 80 years earlier meant the end of the nation.

At that time and place atheists and agnostics like Ben Franklin called themselves “Deists” — meaning God made everything but he seems to have stepped out and won’t pick up the phone — so they wouldn’t get prosecuted by the religious majority, which didn’t believe in freedom of speech or conscience.
I don’t know where the universe came from, something must have created it, but nobody is sending me the answers on stone tablets from the sky. Deist seems to fit the observations.
Multiply by many tens of millions of families and you have a significant remnant of morality in America.
And they vote… local, state, and national. And here we are. The fact of the matter is, if there were actually “tens of millions” of moral families in AmeriKa, the landscape would be a reflection of it. It is not. The landscape resembles a festering, bubbling, toxic cesspool. And it is going to get worse.

If I took Ann as written what could one do? It’s all hopeless? Unless we restore religion in the USA we are DOOMED. I think we can pretty much agree that we’re not going to transform back to even early 20th Century religious status-quo in the USA. But I do think we can make better decisions, and fix things, even if it’s going to be painful.

I work around a lot of younger folks in the construction industry, 20-40 yr olds. They are the greediest people I have ever encountered in my life, padding materials and charging extra for anything they can possibly get away with, raising labor fees constantly, no education and yet charging contractor fees, all in the name of buying(charging) newer and bigger toys for themselves. They have no honesty or integrity to speak of. Ann’s video is dead on as far as the younger generation sees itself. Entitlement to the max.
I don’t feel pity or anger towards them anymore, I just want to see this greed end. One way or another, it’s coming, and they have no clue that they will find themselves flat on their faces and penniless.
I deal with a lot of young people (under 40) in the computer industry. I have seen some of these guys come into a shop, make a huge mistake, and then swear up and down they did not do it. I pull out the audit trail and show them almost keystroke for keystroke what they did and they still deny it. I have seen them falsify resumes, lie on travel expenses, lie about billable hours, anything and everything they can to get one more buck.
It may well be the clock has run down and we are fortunate enough to witness the end of this foul mess, increasingly I see less and less to convince me otherwise.
Maybe fortunate is not the right word yet…perhaps it could be one day.
Of course he is not going to steal your money. He is going to turn the other cheek while other people steal your money. Then, he is going to restore our constitutional republic.

I have no real differences with Barnhardt’s piece. In a market bubble it is always the financial segment of the economy that blows everything up, just look at the roaring 20′s vs the new paradijm 90′s/. One especially telling point was that these kids have no idea what the following phrases are drawn from:

There were others – the point being that all biblical references are meaningless to these eighteen year olds and all who follow them.
These girls in this vid are nothing special – 90%+ of their peers suffers the same lack of any moral compass…

I remain amazed at the number of people who will parse constitutional semantics and argue about AR15 this or that, but then send their kids off to public school to be cast in the same melting pot as these types. Don’t think that “getting into college” is a good enough excuse, either. I know a 16-year-old homeschooled guy who started college today on a full scholarship (plus), having walked through the front door with college credit for subjects like chemistry (two semesters), calculus (two semesters), biology (two semesters) and psychology already on his transcript. Oh, and who learned how to write software, design electronic circuits, fix hydraulics, operate heavy equipment, renovate homes, build roads, raise livestock, improve land organically, think critically, see the world for what it is, avoid student debt, etc., etc., while his peers were getting “socialized”…

Scanning through the replies, I didn’t see this, but found it interesting.
I know the story of the two teenaged women was only illustrative, but at least one of the two continued on in her career of crime. The second one in that video, which dates from 2008 I think (when she was 17/18), proceeded to commit kidnapping while armed, by then age 20, and has about a year left on her sentence for that, a felony. Her sentence was 1 year in jail, two additional years probation.
Didn’t see anything more about the red head, but wouldn’t be too surprised to find out she’s done more time as well.

It doesn’t. But, operationally, all she really wants to do is play the Christian Martyr so as to resolve her own G-U-I-L-T. We need live leaders not dead martyrs. So Ann Elizabeth needs to deal with this, purge herself completely, and stop ducking situations – e.g., the recent self-aborted RT interview – that would empower her & advance the Cause. Now and then, via e-mail, I teach Annie a new word (“strumpet”) or successfully offer sartorial advice (“no more lumpy, too-tight white blouse!”)…so perhaps she wll eventually get this right too.
I agree that the basest of men are at the top but when you use the word “we,” you not only include everyone (whether guilty or not) but you include yourself. Be specific and stop lumping the whole world into the same pit.

I’m amazed at some of the comments on how Ann is so negative and we can fix this. How bad does it have to get before people get the picture? Also why is it when someone speaks the truth they are viewed as negative. Well I suppose we should all just have positive thoughts and all the negative stuff will disappear. Every time I read the comment section of any article I’m reminded of how hopeless it really is. The moral compass is so low many no longer even realize what the problem is – the total rampant world wide moral decay.

It is a disgusting act of selfishness without any remorse whatsoever. Both of them should be put in locks and publicly embarrassed, then put in jail for at least five years with full paid restitution.
As bad as IMmorality or even Amorality is, it’s the resultant ANTI-morality that’ll prove to be the most devastating thing. And the methods that may be needed to correct that condition’ll be even more terrible, for everyone.
How ironic if it was eventually considered a pity that Red Dawn didn’t happen.
