Where as the commies can call something “A million man march” and get 100,000 people and have the propaganda arms of the ministry of disinformation tell everyone how big and successful it was the Patriot community will be subject to ridiculous undercounting, ala the Tea Party rally.

Thank goodness that Dick Armey (in his one useful act in the last decade) let someone onto the roof of the capital to photograph it.

Saying 10 million man march sets a very high bar. Do we really think we have a chance in hell of getting there? The Tea Party rally was the biggest rally yet, but that was less than 1M I think.

Better to under-promise and over-deliver.

By the way, I have a baseball cap with that logo. Along the lines of Matt Bracken’s suggestion that we all wear gun logo caps, that’s the best gun logo cap. I think i got it from patriot wear. Everyone should have them and wear them!

  Jackson, I would say the best cap to wear is the one you have – NRA, JPFO, Come and Take It, Molon Labe, or branded. Any one can function as a signpost for other patriots or as a conversation starter along the lines of ‘You own a [brand]? So do I!” My NRA Gadsden hat has worked exactly like that.

Sorry. While I appreciate the sentiment, I will not attend.

However, if we will do it armed, I’m in.

They will ignore 10 million unarmed men. But 500,000 armed men would cause a great deal of consternation.

If you want to make an omelet, you have to break a few eggs. If you want to save a republic, you have to break a few laws. Anything less is fornicating for virginity.

  Now that would be something wouldn’t it? Hell even 50,000 well armed men on the national mall would make them pee themselves. Problem is, if only a few dozen or even a few hundred showed up armed they would more than likely be scooped up by the DC cops and Park Police. But 50,000? That’s almost as many as we have troops in Afghanistan.

  I think this step is the step prior to what you describe. The roundtable had us asking “where do we go from here?” It may be more appropriate to call this the 10 million gun owner, 5 million camera march. This is the networking opportunity. The chance to see how many of us there are and to forge connections and alliances. It is a morale builder. We need this.
  
  It shows we are “working through the system” and “playing by the rules” since the government/media propaganda axis will be looking for any minute lawbreaking as the opportunity to paint us all as 10 million Tim McVeighs. 500,000 angry dudes with guns will give them that opportunity. It’s not time for that, yet.
  
  We need to get our message out. Get the whole body of the freedom lovers out there in addition to ourselves and the better known among us. Folks like; MrColionNoir (http://www.youtube.com/user/MrColionNoir?feature=watch), Henson Ong (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyYYgLzF6zU0), the Pink Pistols (http://www.pinkpistols.org/) and countless others that jam up the government/media propaganda axis’ stereotype of gun owners. This is bigger than any of the bastards are willing to admit or report.
  
  This is the opportunity for us to show the cheerleaders for the state and the Lords of the FSA that there are a lot more of us out there than they realize, and we will not go quietly in the night with their plans.
  
  We have got to counter the massive volley of disinformation that the government/media propaganda axis will heave out there with 5 million videos and tens of millions of pictures and stories of these mass events from the participants themselves. The country will see itself in much of what we produce, and will distrust the media even more as we show the truth.
  
  There were 2.5 million NICS checks in Jan 2013 vs 1.4 million in Jan 2012. America is on our side. The government/media propaganda axis is not. The ground is fertile and we need to water it.
  
  Please think about coming. We need everyone we can get.

I have to say I floated this same idea on the “Tree of Liberty” to little support w/o the guns. I have to agree with Alan Mullenax on this one IvyMike. I agree with you that we need it. I want to know who my friends are and I think it would shake up “our representatives” more than we could ever hope for but ONLY if we bring the guns along. It’s a bit of a test that way. You don’t need 10 million either. One [1] million would be an army. That idiot FaraKAHN got a million blacks to DC for a rally. A million GUNS is going to make an impression they won’t forget – the million people have been there – done that.

Think of what gets resolved. “DC says NO GUNS”. Really? Are 2,000 cops going to start arresting 1 million people? What jails will they use? Are LEO’s going to shoot us? Will the “military” get involved? It would be the “Boston Massacre” all over again w/o the guns. I am not throwing snowballs or rocks while being shot at or tasered for exercising my Constitutional rights. I really doubt the Guard would shoot us either but I could be wrong. I tend to think it would shake out like the 1776 lines 15% fight for what’s right and the rest would be against us or sitting on the sidelines watching to see who wins. I like to win myself…

I recall another ‘unarmed’ protest… something about some soldiers wanting what was promised… the end result…

Yah, sure- you betchya I’ll be there.

If there’s one thing this current POS would love, it’s an excuse to rid himself of 10 million gun owners. Or five million. Or one million. Or a thousand.

And anyone who trusts that the same wouldn’t happen had better wake up and smell the popcorn.

We need to organize with our state association s now to start chartering bus services to this event. I was at the 9/12 March and this made it easy for people to attend who otherwise would not be able to.
