  1. Well, there goes his career….GOD BLESS EM!

  2. Hey, We oughta be able to leaflet, if the Moonies could COLLECT.

  3. That cop is probably in deep trouble with the brass.

    • Yes, and that’s precisely why I called and gave the sheriff some praise for training his men so well.

  4. My department requires me to do a monthly review of Constitutional law and take a test over the subject matter. I can not for the life of me figure out how some of the “only ones” justify their abuse of citizens’ rights. Ignorance? Stupidity? Ego? I hate to call some of them “brothers” but you don’t get to choose your family, only your friends. All you can do is praise the right attitudes and condemn the wrong ones and hope people get it. Obviously, this deputy understands his duty and oath, and I’m proud to call him brother.

  5. On a different slant, the guy running the airport has gotten a serious case of power corruption. He really and truly thinks his word is law.
This, when you get down to it, is the kind of man we face. When they lose the support of the police they aint much are they. That’s a lesson in where the real problem may lay.

  6. You want the police to respect the Constitution?

Become a police officer. It’s that simple, guys.

The more Patriots join the police, the military, the government, the more chances there are for situations such as these to take place. BE the monkey-wrench in the machine (and get paid to uphold the Constitution, and to interpose yourself before the citizenry and power-hungry bastards such as that TSA a**hole.) If we leave public service to the Nazis, then why are surprised to find Nazis using the machinery of the State against our liberties at every turn?

Don’t retreat; engage, infiltrate, and re-orient.

    • A great many of “us” who are interested in Liberty, and in mortal opposition to tyranny, would not last three days on The Job. Our BS meters would peg so hard that the needle would break.

The Job is top down rules, regs and ENFORCEment,, not trickle up Liberty from the rank and file. Don’t let this one incident fill you with hope, no offense and all credit to that young officer. May he be an example and may his example inspire…. ahhh, never mind.

      Mike/29Nov12@20:42,

While I agree w/ & support your position, you know that oughtsix’s point’s unfortunately representative of the way things actually operate but that doesn’t mean the effort shouldn’t be made. The thing to remember is that subversion goes both ways as the following from KABA.com shows.:

The deputy’s to be commended for being aware of & supporting the Constitutional rights of the citizens against the Imperium, but let’s not get overexcited about this all too rare example of what should be standard LE procedure & remember that his attitude might be different in another situation. One positive act by one person in one instance does not a general trend make.
