Owens: What You’ll See In The Rebellion

m80 .30 call ball zero
Read all of Bob Owens’ latest, along with John V’s cautionary words.

Sample:

***
…The 535 members of the House and Senate in both parties that allowed such a law to pass would largely be on their own; the Secret Service is too small to protect all of them and their families, the Capitol Police too unskilled, and competent private security not particularly interested in working against their own best interests at any price. The elites will be steadily whittled down, and if they can not be reached directly, the targets will become their staffers, spouses, children, and grandchildren. Grandstanding media figures loyal to the regime would die in droves, executed as enemies of the Republic.

You can expect congressional staffs to disintegrate with just a few shootings, and expect elected officials themselves to resign well before a quarter of their number are eliminated, leaving us with a boxed-in executive, his cabinet loyalists trapped in the same win, die, or flee the country circumstance, military regime loyalists, and whatever State Governors who desire to risk their necks as well…
***

Understand that once the ball opens, there will be no stopping the righteous fury of viciously-indignant Americans, especially once the 2013 versions of Waco and Ruby Ridge are re-enacted by Regime loyalists across the nation.

No one associated with the Federal government or its mutant-twin ruling parties will be safe.

Especially once the guys with the scoped hunting rifles come in.

Please spread Owens’ post far and wide.

The hour is late.

And the future is dark.

More From Colonel Cooper

jeff cooper
“The conclusions seem inescapable that in certain circles a tendency has arisen to fear people who fear government. Government, as the Father of Our Country put it so well, is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. People who understand history, especially the history of government, do well to fear it. For a people to express openly their fear of those of us who are afraid of tyranny is alarming. Fear of the state is in no sense subversive. It is, to the contrary, the healthiest political philosophy for a free people.”

Billy Beck: In Dealings With Them

billy beckFrom Billy Beck:

There is a ghastly ahistoricity in these complaints against the antiquity of the Second Amendment.

What very few understand is the power-relations of the progression of arms in the past five hundred years. In 1789, the flintlock musket was the “assault weapon” of its day. It was every bit as dangerous and menacing then as the AR-15 is now.

Anyone who doubts this need only reflect upon the fact that civilians took their weapons into battle against the greatest military power in the world, and prevailed.

UPDATE: Grid-Down Field Medical Training — Missoula, MT — 16-18 February 2013

Screen shot 2012-12-04 at 12.06.41 PM
Field Expedient Medical Care for Outdoorsmen in Austere Environments

UPDATE 2305 EST 10 JAN 2013: Only a few slots left! Course cost is $400, payable by PayPal to hebrewswest@hotmail.com. Contact griddownmed@hotmail.com for more info.

This three-day (20+ hour) course of instruction will prepare the motivated outdoorsman to treat life-threatening and function-threatening medical conditions in the wilderness without access to classical EMS and medical resources.

The working hypothesis of this program is an injury or illness sustained by a family or work group remote from medical resources by distance, time, or availability (grid-down) over a short to intermediate interval.

Designed by a retired Emergency Physician with 35 years of Trauma, EMS/Rescue, and instructional experience, the methods and techniques taught are derived from over 10 years of front-line trauma care in an urban gangland zone and over 35 years of medical practice in environments as diverse as remote underground in caves (delayed evacuation to surface of 20 hrs), on the side of remote hills (48 hr bivouac in “whiteout” conditions), and at sea. The trauma concepts are compatible and consistent with the current military method of Tactical Combat Casualty Care.

Topics Include:
• The priority of medical care/stabilization in the survival skill set
• Triage: When to use the resources at hand, to benefit the most individuals, and preserve the “team” capability
• The “Priorities” of care for the single victim vs. the “Survivability” of the single victim in remote (time/distance/accessibility) austere environment
• The Major (Medical) Life Threats: Function and Management
• Anatomy of the life-sustaining systems of the human body
• Cover and concealment: high-threat extraction concepts
• The Big Three Survivable Life Threats-Airway control issues, pneumothorax/tension pneumothorax, and external hemorrhage
• Advanced airway techniques for the average sportsman/citizen, with expanded scope knowledge: Nasal Airways, cricothyrotomy
• Basic and Advanced Treatment of Thoracic Wounds- Stopping the air leak, and/or venting the pressure
• Basic and Advanced External Hemorrhage control- Direct pressure, mechanized direct pressure, hemostatic agents, pressure point use behind cover, tourniquets
• The science, and fairy tale, of fluid resuscitation
• Monitoring the head injured patient
• Stabilization of fractures and splinting for functional use
• Definitive wound care: Cleansing, Debriding, Closing
• The Team “Debilitators”: infection, vomiting/diarrhea/field sanitation, dehydration, toothache, soft tissue injuries, hyperthermia, and hypothermia
• Dealing with burns or cold induced wounds (frostbite, frostnip, etc.)
• Current therapy of envenomations: snakes, spiders, bees
• Pre-Pack Pharmacy: What you want to have before venturing into the outback
• Teammates with pre-existing disease: how not to make it worse
• The “Jericho Scenario”: Protection, Decontamination, and Treatment for chemical and biological agents

On Civilian Control: Think Global, Act Local

cscm
Much is made in American political mythology of the concept of civilian control of the armed forces. Such discussions are generally limited to the national government, in which the executive is both senior member of that branch and also commander-in-chief of the nation’s military.

Now think, as AWB2013 coalesces towards reality, about the same concepts as applied to state and local government.

At the state level, there is also an elected executive branch official (i.e., the Governor). That elected official has a somewhat-spurious command responsibility over her state’s National Guard forces,* state defense forces, and the state police. Budgetary responsibility for all gubernatorial functions resides with the state’s legislature, although especially in the post-9/11 environment, significant grants and other assistance are supplied (subject to various “strings”, of course) by the Department of Homeland Security and other elements of the Federal government.

At the local level, there is considerable variation in command and control responsibility for local law enforcement, with some areas having an elected chief law enforcement officer (CLEO) (e.g., county sheriffs) and other jurisdictions appointing CLEOs by actions of the county executive, the county legislature, or both.

Regardless of the variations between localities and governmental levels, however, there is in each of your AOs a discernible structure for both direct action (i.e., operational command and control) and logistical/fiscal support for those actions (i.e., funding for those operations).

Make it your business to learn in detail those structures in your area of operations.

Why?

As Feinstein’s proposed legislation is debated and moves towards passage, there are at least two tracks for individual action to halt the madness. There is, of course, the usual “write/contact/visit your Senators and Congresscritter” advice, which will likely have the same effect that such efforts have had against other anti-freedom bills in the recent past (e.g., Obamacare, Patriot Act extensions, NDAA authorizations, debt ceiling increases, et cetera ad nauseum). Notwithstanding the apparent (actual?) futility of such steps, I plan on doing same, and I encourage others to do the same, even if only as a necessary fail.

There is another path, at the local level, which should be considered for execution in parallel. Having determined in your state and your locality the command and support functions for the armed men and women that will be coming (even if only in support of the Feds) to kill you and your family when you defy AWB2013, consider sending letters to those executive and legislative branch officials along the following lines:

Date

Commandant Helmut Schiesskopf
Wanker State Patrol Headquarters
123 Minipax Boulevard
Capital City, CN 00008

Commandant Schiesskopf:

As you are aware, there is currently under debate in Congress a bill that, if passed, will require the registration of all currently-owned semiautomatic firearms and accoutrements pursuant to the provisions of the National Firearms Act of 1934 (as amended).

As you are also aware, there are millions of such weapons and accoutrements in this state, legally and peacefully owned, by millions of law-abiding citizens. If the Federal legislation is enacted, a very large percentage of those law-abiding citizens will rely on the unequivocal words of the Second Amendment and defy this unconstitutional infringement of their civil rights.

As Commandant of the State Patrol, you and your officers will inevitably be directed by your superiors in the state and Federal government to support Federal forces in the enforcement of this unconstitutional law. While we are confident that you and your officers will want to do the right thing, this letter is being sent to remind you of your duties to the citizens of this state.

If you and your forces actually do your duty and refuse to participate in the enforcement of the Federal law, you will be hailed as a hero in this state and others. You will, of course, be threatened by the Federal authorities, but you know far better than they that the forces at your disposal, even if they were inclined to act as Federal lackeys, are completely inadequate to the tasks you will be assigned.

Stand in defense of this state and its citizens, we implore you.

Stand as an American.

Senator Blabsalot:

As you are aware, there is currently under debate in Congress a bill that, if passed, will require the registration of all currently-owned semiautomatic firearms and accoutrements pursuant to the provisions of the National Firearms Act of 1934 (as amended).

As you are also aware, there are millions of such weapons and accoutrements in this state, legally and peacefully owned, by millions of law-abiding citizens. If the Federal legislation is enacted, a very large percentage of those law-abiding citizens will rely on the unequivocal words of the Second Amendment and defy this unconstitutional infringement of their civil rights.

As the chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Commandant, you and your colleagues are responsible for the funding of the Wanker State Patrol. Those state patrol officers will inevitably be directed by the Governor and Federal government officials to support Federal forces in the enforcement of this unconstitutional law.

You and your colleagues on the Appropriations Committee will be able to stop such madness by defunding such operations of the Wanker State Patrol, or, if necessary, removing the funds for Patrol operations as a whole.

If you and your fellow Senators do your constitutional duty as our representatives and refuse to fund state-supported enforcement of the Federal law, you will be hailed as a hero in this state and others. You will, of course, be threatened by the Federal authorities, but you know far better than they that the use of state forces will lead to unnecessary destruction and bloodshed. Do not allow yourselves to be used as Federal collaborators against the men, women, and children who rely on you to represent them.

Stand in defense of this state and its citizens, we implore you.

General , your tank is a powerful vehicle.
