Next Steps

Toomey’s bill text.

Herschel Smith explains the badness.

GOA has advice on what to do.

Don’t quit.

Make the calls.

Better yet, go to local offices in person.

Look staff in the eye when you deliver the message.

Really “make calls”? Come on now. What age are you living in. Let me make some more productive suggestions.
1.) Make them fear for their political lives. Threaten the life of their political cash cows. WHO are their contributors – apply pressure to their sponsors and contributors through any means available.
2.) Make them fear for their mortal lives. Enlighten them (anonymously if necessary), on the very real fact that treading on citizen’s rights if a physically dangerous endeavor, and that harm may come of such things.

    • #2 is ok if you like being in gulag.

      • I had the pleasure of doing such a thing in Nancy Pelosi’s office in DC in Nov. 09. It was in the company of 4 capitol police. I was actually a little amazed that I was not arrested. Of course they would have had to arrest another 7000 or so also. #2 that is.

It is way past the time of threatening for as CA said, if you do so they got you where they want you.

As in all things, if you are threatened you must meet the threat head on and directly, some how.

Imagine for a moment, someone standing on your front porch telling you he is going to take (steal) your property (your natural rights), what would you do?

Suppose that same person is standing 1000 miles away and makes that threat?

Well there is a Yacht in National Harbor that I hear needs a leak about 3 foot wide installed in its hull. I’m just sayin…

This is the end of things. Toomey and Manchin. These two public tools of the highest order of treason and tyranny have crossed this entire Republic onto the far shores of the Rubicon.
When I gaze around me, see all the good hard working law abiding people I have met and know, it beggars my mind how demented these “elected representative” are who can not leave us alone. Collectively I think, they have devolved into first principles of greed of power above anything, over others, at any cost, in every facet of the entire sphere of our lives.
These elites, Damn, how utterly despicable a term, for it extends elevated status to those whom represent the most barbaric people within our civil society, or what remains of it after their insidious meddling in our private lives and Liberty. These “elites” have created what they wish for, an end game in their agenda. Where the only safety valve of resistance to tyranny, our primal right to defense from the very thing they represent, where the social contract of rule of law, where resolution to keeping our Liberty, protecting ourselves from their tyranny, will be a loss of civility and violence and on a scale that will eclipse any human event in the history of civilization.

But they will be, in their “elitist” minds, lords of it all.

Good luck to em, it will suck to be them.

God bless please the rest of us.

    • “This is the end of things. Toomey and Manchin.”

Heh. Me, I’ve been yapping about this crazy Amish sentencing in Ohio. Michael Savage is on a crusade and it’s got me almost coming out of my skin.

Sorry pal, but these two traitors are jumping in long after the end of things…no doubt like the others, hoping to save their own asses from what they know they deserve.

Our guilt, such as it is, is that we knew it all along. “All that’s necessary for evil to triumph…”

I sure hope you don’t, but it looks like I’ll be taking that thought to my grave. I figure about 200 million decent Americans are going to wake up, exactly one day too late. And so it’ll be for me—whatever I do will no doubt be too little, too late. As usual, TL’s got it right.

It ain’t over till the fat lady sings, but she’s done warmin’ up and is ready to go main stage. Speaking only for myself, I’ll NEVER be fooled again. The only bright spot is that you and I won’t have to debate Rule of Law; that’s about as moot as anything could be. I wasn’t looking forward to it anyway…you’d be no fun to argue with, at all.

I don’t EVER give up, but I’ve spent years now learning how to lose. I don’t recommend it for anyone, so please, please…WIN!

  6. I’m looking at two cadaverous puppets in that pic….surely they’ll turn to dust if their scam falters. WTH does the slimebag in chief have on them?

  7. I have to agree with Mr. Dyer.
Make calls ? Go to their offices and “look them in the eye” ? CA are you joking ? “look them in the eye” ? Hahahahahahahaha….you should go into comedy.

Below you can read the response I just received from Pennsylvania’s OTHER scumbag, federal senator….Robert Casey-D, PA. The low-life says he supports 2A but then he supports an “assault weapons” ban. Be aware there is NO reasoning with these bastards. There is no imploring them to abide by the U.S. Constitution and their oath (it’s just something an elected POS has to do) to as office-taking ritual.

“Look them in the eye”…..well take a gander at this and tell me to look Bob Casey’s staff pukes in the eye….

Dear Mr. DAN III (last name changed to protect the Patriot):

Thank you for taking the time to contact me about recent proposals related to guns. I appreciate hearing from you about this issue.

As you know, on December 14, 2012, an individual in Newtown, Connecticut forced his way into Sandy Hook Elementary School and opened fire on teachers and staff in the building. In total, the perpetrator murdered 20 students between the ages of six and seven years old, as well as six adults, many of whom heroically sought to stop the shooter and save the lives of children. Like many Americans, I was deeply affected by the scope and brutality of this act. The motives that led to this senseless massacre will likely never fully be comprehended. However, I believe that all public officials have a responsibility to work to prevent such an event from occurring again. This incident reflects a complex problem that requires a comprehensive strategy, including funding for law enforcement officers and the mental health care system.

As you may know, I am a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. Pennsylvania has a fine hunting and sporting tradition, and I will defend the right to bear arms as it is enshrined in our Constitution. I will continue to back the right to bear arms for purposes of self-defense, recreation, sporting and collection. However, I also believe that the attack at Sandy Hook Elementary School highlights very serious dangers posed to public safety by the misuse of certain military-style weapons and technology originally developed for warfare. According to reports, the shooter possessed a military-style semiautomatic weapon and was able to kill many children and adults very quickly. He also allegedly used magazines containing up to 30 rounds of ammunition and carried hundreds of rounds more. After much reflection and careful study of the issue, I have decided to support a federal assault weapons ban as well as legislation restricting high capacity magazines. In light of what occurred at Sandy Hook, these are two measures that could lessen the chances that this will happen again. Before supporting such a law, I would first and foremost ensure that it did not infringe upon the right to bear arms as established by the Second Amendment.

Our Nation has already begun a critical dialogue as we examine what steps must be taken to prevent this type of tragedy in the future. On January 17, 2012, President Obama unveiled a package of proposals to reduce gun violence, which included strengthening the system of background checks, reinstating the assault weapon and high-capacity magazines ban, improving school safety and expanding access to mental health services.

On January 24, 2013, Senator Dianne Feinstein of California introduced S. 150, the Assault Weapons Ban of 2013. This legislation would explicitly permit the possession of affected firearms that were owned prior to the bill’s enactment; firearms that are manually operated; firearms used by military, law enforcement and retired law enforcement; and antique weapons. Further, this legislation lists 2,258 hunting and sporting rifles and shotguns that are entirely exempt from the ban.

This legislation would ban the sale, transfer, manufacturing and importation of all semiautomatic rifles that can accept a detachable magazine and have at least one of seven specified military features. S. 150 would further ban semiautomatic pistols that can accept a detachable magazine and have at least one of certain listed military features, as well as ammunition magazines that can accept more than 10 rounds. The Assault Weapons Ban would also regulate the transfer and storage of permitted, grandfathered weapons and allow local law enforcement to use certain federal funds for voluntary gun buyback programs. On March 14, 2013, the Senate Committee on the Judiciary approved the Assault Weapons Ban by a vote of 10-8. The Judiciary Committee also recently approved legislation to expand background checks for gun sales and legislation to punish and deter firearms trafficking.

On March 21, 2013, Senator Harry Reid of Nevada introduced S. 649, the Safe Communities, Safe Schools Act of 2013. This bill includes three pieces of gun legislation previously reported out of the Judiciary Committee: S. 374, the Fix Gun Checks Act of 2013; S. 54, the Stop Illegal Trafficking in Firearms Act of 2013; and S. 146, the School and Campus Safety Enhancements Act of 2013. On April 8, 2013, Senator Reid move to proceed to S. 649 and begin consideration in the full Senate. Please be assured that as the Senate considers this important legislation, I will have your views in mind.

Again, thank you for sharing your thoughts with me. Please do not hesitate to contact me in the future about this or any other matter of importance to you.

For more information on this or other issues, I encourage you to visit my website, I hope you will find this online office a comprehensive resource to stay up-to-date on my work in Washington, request assistance from my office or share with me your thoughts on the issues that matter most to you and to Pennsylvania.

    Bob Casey
    United States Senator
May Bob Casey Jr, D-PA along with the rest of the elected scoundrels, from dogcatcher to the West Wing and everywhere in between, rot in hell !

    • Your mistake is in believing that anyone thinks that such actions will accomplish anything other than:

      1) committing the citizen to some form of action in meatspace, and

      2) making that action manifest to the ruling elite.

Wishing someone to rot in hell takes much less sand than that.

      • Well CA….I take it that your mistake would be thinking you can reason with these bastards ? “Look them in the eye”…..hahahahahahahahahaha….yeah, that will do it.

As I understand your reasoning Lexington Green and Concord Bridge were mistakes of the highest order, eh ?

        • Not at all, Dan.

19 April was the inevitable result of encroaching tyranny (Gage’s gun raid, inter alia) meeting what happens when peaceful petitioning fails.

I don’t expect any eye-to-eye meetings with Congressional staff to be successful.

I still suggest it be done.

          • “I still suggest it be done”

I concur, ALL possible pressure should be brought to bear on these oath breakers, every little bit we can muster until the last possible moment.

The more GOP elitists that are dragged into the light… Like Coburn, Toomey, Isakson, etc. Shows the newly awakened what they are up against, The GOP is not on our side, and they haven’t been for a very long time.

“I still suggest it be done.”

For me that would be inherently dangerous.
I moved to the woods 7 years ago because I just can’t stand most people.
If I was to confront a person capable of constructing the 12th sentence in that letter I would not be able to contain myself there would be a lot of dead people laying around and one of them would be me.

“Dyin’ ain’t much of a livin’, boy.”, and I got a whole buncha livin’ to do yet.

That ain’t to say I’m hidin, rather, I’m avoidin’.
If they bring it, they’ll get it.

An exercise in righteousness. Use it, or lose it. It builds the immune system.

  8. These scum aren’t oath breakers or liberal rinos they are both nothing more than turn coats, traitors and quislings. The republican mutts would throw them both out of the party if they had any balls but they agree. There is no sense in wasting effort on changing the temperament of a lunatic who is holding a gun to your wifes head hoping he will see the light..these scumbags and the rest who turn against us only do us a favor for identifying themselves.. its the ones who are still hiding we should be concerned about.

  9. Look for the loop holes in the Bill….no one will read the fine print. They will a list of medications that we are taking. There are many that we take have nothing mental problems. But once they know you are taking them they will put you on the list of “mental disorders” and pull your permits. Soon we will all be criminals. Only LEO’s and criminals will have guns, that statement will be true.

    • CA, re: your remark 13 APR @ 2217….do I believe peaceful begging, imploring our ruling elite to abide by their sworn oaths, should continue ? Yes. However, fruitless it is to implore the elites or their staff members by “looking them in the eye”, it should be done ….for now.

But as we all continue to bluster on blogs such as WRSA and others, the ruling elites continue their rapid encroachment of our God-given rights. Myself, in less than 2 weeks I’ll be taking time to go to Harrisburg and express myself along with many others of the same beliefs to Pennsylvania’s ruling elites. What I believe is they will grudgingly acknowledge our presence, tell us what we want to hear, and then go about doing the destruction in PA as is going on elsewhere. So CA, I’ll be taking your advice to “look them in the eye”.

The question remains….at what point in time do those who love Freedom & Liberty take the only action that will get results ? The answer is still undetermined. But my belief remains that only “pain” upon the ruling elite will protect our Freedom & Liberty. Pain being mental, financial or physical pain. One of, a combination of the above, or all of the above. Only pain upon the ruling elite will bring freedom. Until that happens we will see the vestiges of this once great country continue down the commode.

Thanks for your hard work at maintaining your blog and allowing others to appreciate the fruits of your efforts.

  10. I have to be honest. I’m done with talking.
