H/t to WiscoDave for this Julian Assange piece on Google’s imperial ambitions.

The Google guys are just living the words that known font of benevolence, Lenin: “To us, everything is permitted, for we are the first to raise the sword not to oppress races and reduce them to slavery, but to liberate humanity from its shackles.”

Damn, what Julian Assange writes exemplifies just how incredibly corrupt the psychopathic monsters of the ruling class really is, how broken the concept of republican government and system of consent of the governed truly is.

There exists not a shred of legitimacy remaining within the regime of what was the USA.

Now try to get the masses to understand that!
Unfortunately it’s way too high over their TV screen.

    • Mr. Mt Top….would you agree that the silence of the governed is implied consent ? When I’ve attended townhall meetings to rail against my congressman for his unconstitutional voting, I’ve had others tell me to shut up. Several citizens told me they are there to ask about social security and other FEDGOV freebies.

Again, would you agree that the silence of the governed is implied consent ?

Most are both cowards and stupid.
So what do you do with them? These are the same folks who will rat you out when things get tough, and they represent the majority of amerikans today. Most folks I know fall into this same group. And we wonder why we have no tribe.
        FUBAR.

      • “Again, would you agree that the silence of the governed is implied consent ?”

What’s the difference if he agrees? Consent is consent. I wouldn’t even bother, except that consent is the focal attribute of EVERYTHING that’s going on.

Here’s you—“If I imagine that you consented, then you consented.” Sounds like a terrific plan for your “objective” Rule of Law.

I’ll agree a plurality are not greedy little free shit one way idiots.
        Your proof of that.

I’ll agree what you say is the reality of how far from republican government America has strayed, the idea of Liberty, what it means and requires is sorely lacking in so many. Agree the criminal political class built it’s crime syndicate on the commodity of useful idiots feeding at the same trough, that for all intents and purposes whom are all of the same feather. What a pitiful thing to say.

For good or bad it seems like the only resolution is it is going to play itself out to it’s inevitable conclusion. That this ain’t the same nation, in almost every respect, that began 2 centuries past. That age of reason is sorely missing for most. Such a shame. It is reason that created America.

Reason is the stuff of domestic terrorists. Truth is a revolutionary concept.

It could happen, I hope it does, but voting our way out of this terrible mess most likely is the last thing the ruling criminals and the free shit idiots are going to allow to transpire, over their dead carcases if the scale of corruption and moral decay they have enjoined in is indicative of how committed they are in their respective pillaging.

And time to do so is in short supply.

Something entirely different, and of a profound sea change will have to take place for redress of wrongs of tyranny, to the rule of law, and the gospel of Liberty to return.

God knows the advent of an infant tyrant and his ilk is not enough.

Maybe it is a test of who we are, it is the natural order that humans are self destructive to the point of almost no return before the species pulls itself back from the precipice. Maybe that brings out the best in us.

It is very telling of these actors they all have a certain thing in common, in one fashion or another, each in their own way, they are all afraid of the gun in the hands of the plurality of law respecting productive liberty minded America.

        It unnerves them.

It is the inherent power in the hands of a plurality that unnerves them. It upsets their apple cart, threatens to spill their rice bowl.

It once was the act of voting empowered people, empowered their sense of place. Of purpose. I think that is replaced now with the gun. The axiom of how “When democracy becomes tyranny, an armed citizenry still gets to vote” may very well be the only path of salvation of Liberty, of redemption.

They say political power grows out of the barrel of the gun. We see the escalation of illegitimacy of power of the state do so every day. And it’s tyrannical drive to deny the common man that same power. And hand out the spoils of war on our prosperity to those who bend their knee. Who is fooling who?

I hope not it comes down to a matter of using those arms. It will rip us all apart. Not that what is going down is any less terrible. But, there is much to be said for having quite had enough of this fucking imposition of the consequences of so many selfish corrupt one way motherfuckers, leeches, and crooks, and changing this extreme dynamic in absolute terms.

One way or another, it won’t be long. Time is growing short.
Something is about to begin that is going to change everything.
You can almost feel it. Hard to say what it may be.

        But back to that plurality.
Seems to me a man of reason once said something to the effect it only takes a plurality to win.

        Something to think about anyways.

      • I would say so. It has been that way for some time, too.

      • Jimmy the Saint

“Again, would you agree that the silence of the governed is implied consent ?”

It can be, and probably is in the US, but doesn’t necessarily mean that. Some other cultures – Sicily being a prime example – have a long history of being silent, and in their context, it definitely doesn’t imply consent.

      • “silence of the governed is implied consent”
        ==================

        The key word is *governed*.

        governed = ruled

  3. Battlefield USA

I don’t get it! What of all the soldiery sacrifice in all our wars for god and country? And what of the gospel of democracy?

    • Jimmy the Saint

“And what of the gospel of democracy?”

Democracy is a fancy word for mob rule – it’s just the tyranny of the majority.

  4. @DAN III – Yes, it IS absolutely implied consent. My thought, though, is that might not the time be better spent preparing than talking to those whom the words heard mean nothing? I myself don’t bother anymore (I agree I might be wrong) because they care not for what I have to say. I hope your reps are more open.

    • “Yes, it IS absolutely implied consent.”

But it’s not. Sure it COULD be. It’s the same point as the “sap” issue elsewhere. That’s not any excuse, since a person SHOULD know what he needs to know. But if he doesn’t, he doesn’t. This is particularly important because of the role of educators in the whole mess.

“My thought, though, is that might not the time be better spent preparing than talking to those whom the words heard mean nothing?”

Ha…I hear that! Still, “Can’t we have both?” Waste is a terrible thing to be sure, but a ton of people read and don’t write. Maybe they listen. Personally, I write for myself anyway. Obviously.

    • Mr. Wisco…..your thoughts regarding time better spent preparing are quite accurate. I don’t believe you are wrong to not bother writing, as many do not care what one has to say other than to criticize. Thank you for your well intentioned comments. Your thoughts were not lost on everyone.

    • Damn, that was good MTP. Almost every sentence a powerhouse. It’s tough to pick out a best line; I think I’ll go with this…

“It is reason that created America.”

It’s a sure thing—nothing else can save us now. Back to nature, sort of, instead of denying our nature.

    • MT….if you were addressing me with your introductory remarks of a “plurality” and that I’m “proof of that” please clarify. Otherwise I apologize for interjecting into your comments.

  6. Started divesting myself of all things google some time ago. No more gmail, and I use startpage or duckduckgo for searches. I used to have lavabit until uncle stalin shut it down, and now use runbox for offshore privacy.

Google is run by regime collaborators. Any careful reading of even their original terms of service should have been a clue. They essentially give themselves the right to your “metadata” in perpetuity, for any purpose they damn well please.

  7. Paul Bonneau

Nobody here uses Google any more, right? Startpage.com is the preferred search engine these days, unless you are still in the Matrix…
