Cowardly Pastors: Why Pastors Won’t Take A Stand

Russell links to Chuck Baldwin in an article relevant to both Christian believers and other freedom folk.

The great lesson of the above-mentioned heroes and heroines is their willingness to defy evil authority, regardless of outcome. Listen to the three Hebrew children:

“Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden calf which thou hast set up.” (Daniel 3:16-18 KJV)

These men knew that God COULD deliver them, but they did not know if He WOULD deliver them. And to them, it didn’t matter: they were willing to defy the tyranny of King Nebuchadnezzar regardless. They were not going to bow to the unlawful, illegitimate authority of the state (in whatever form it appeared).

That is the glaring lesson of every single one of these great stories of defiance…

Read it all.

Submission to the almighty 501(c)(3) is one of the many ways to lose one’s soul.

Lot of that going around.

Consider that every single social institution in this country has been suborned by the Marxist-Leninists, the purveyors of pussification, Mammon-worshippers, or some combination thereof.

Best start thinking about how to hump all of the ammo you’re going to need.

No matter what.

Attention, citizen!

Liberty taken to the extreme is not a good thing.

Ask any stooge.

They’ll agree, and will even have ways to keep you from being too extreme.

Enforced at the muzzle of a gun.

Now just lay back, and think of Lexington Green.

It will be over soon enough.

Max V: Training Video – Squad Hasty Attack Drills

British Army Crest
Max sends:

This video is very old school, I’m guessing 1970’s. However, it is well worth 35 minutes of your time, and it is worth seeing through to the end. As part of the video the section (squad) conducts three hasty attacks as part of an advance to contact, utilizing varied methods each time. There are a lot of gems in the videos at various points. I have written about a lot of the concepts that are in the video, I was a little shocked and surprised to see!

This is my antidote to anything tacticool, SF, SOF, elite groupie, super high speed, high speed low drag, or similar. It illustrates GOOD SOLID BASICS. There is nothing cool about these guys, they are old school regular infantry soldiers. It even has a little comedy value, with the 1970s British accent of the narrator, and they even have real life Ivan as the enemy, speaking Russian. Love it.

The good solid basics are in the video, lots of good tactics and fieldcraft tips…Take a little time, put up with the dated accents and the essential ‘Britishness’ of the video, swallow that good old American xenophobia, and give it a watch, or two.

Go watch the videos.

Porretto: Localism, Centralism, And Otherism

FP discusses scope.

Of ambition.

And of power.

A global, data-driven, totalitarian colossus is being assembled by people all over the world who loathe the ideals of individual freedom, personal responsibility, and limited government.

They hope to complete their Frankenstein before their credit line is exhausted and the peasants revolt.

The few in Team Freedom gaze out from their bastions and pray for collapse before completion.

It’s a race.

And you’d best have a hard, trained, resourced plan for either eventuality.

…“Liberty taken to the extreme is not a good thing,” Dan said to the class, laying out what might be Project Appleseed’s most important lesson of all. “We are not ‘armed,’ the 2nd amendment not withstanding, against our government with weapons. What we are armed with is information and the vote,” adding before he dismisses class, “if you ignore your rights they’ll go away.”

Army Times: Fort Hood soldiers can face UCMJ if they won’t show ID to cops

Note the key part of the story:

…Texas state law requires people to identify themselves to police only if they are legally arrested. But the Fort Hood policy requires soldiers to show their ID to law enforcement whenever they are asked to do so by authorities…

I know, I know.

They are soldiers, subject to the CG’s discretion, et cetera.

The hard, cold reality is that most of the .mil will defend the government, not the American people, when (not if) the current tyrannical police state decides to go hot.

Do you really think MG Ierardi’s subordinates will shoot their colonels when the NCA says to go and suppress the white male racist domestic terrorists?

Kerry To Sign UN Arms Trade Treaty Wednesday

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry speaks at a luncheon in New York
Think they’ll be enforcing this in Chicago?

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, in a move that puts the Obama administration at odds with the powerful American gun lobby, will sign the U.N. Arms Trade Treaty regulating the $70 billion international conventional arms business, diplomats said on Tuesday.

A senior State Department official said President Barack Obama’s administration would notify the U.S. Senate on Tuesday and Kerry would sign the treaty on Wednesday on the sidelines of the annual U.N. General Assembly in New York.

Obama gave a speech to the assembly on Tuesday that focused on Syria, Iran and other Middle East hot spots.

The arms treaty, which requires ratification by the Senate and has been attacked by America’s pro-gun National Rifle Association, would help Western countries press to curtail Russian arms sales to Syria, where President Bashar al-Assad’s government has been accused of widespread abuses in more than two years of civil war.

Amnesty International Secretary General Salil Shetty called Kerry’s decision “a milestone towards ending the flow of conventional arms that fuel atrocities and abuse.”

The United States and 86 other signatory nations “must implement the treaty and bring to an end the supply of weapons to countries where they would be used to commit or facilitate genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes or other serious human rights violations,” Shetty said in a statement…

Bring it.
