The People Have Spoken (And They Are Wrong)

H/t Maggie’s Farm.

Understand, please:

– The bulk of your fellow continent-dwellers believe that every aspect of your life should be up for a majority vote;

– That belief, plus more than a century of .gov school indoctrination, feeds the basest impulses of the human spirit (e.g., envy, greed, sloth, etc.);

– They truly believe that if 51% say “Jump!”, you must either comply or be crushed by the state security mechanisms.

Message to the majority:

  1. Voting IS Collectivism.

You can’t cast a vote without having first embraced the idea that “your neighbours, not you, should determine your fate”.

    Violate
    Others
    Through
    Extortion

  2. This ain’t kindergarden for Chrissakes and it isn’t like the government gives a damn what anyone wants anyways.
90% of the citizenry was vehemently against bailing out the bankers and they did it anyway and not one of the assholes got voted out of office for it as I recall.

    Majority rules, my achin’ ass.

  5. The “immigration” issue = VOTES and MAJORITY (which most sheeple equate with democracy vs tyranny but I digress). This ability to create quick cheap votes has all the harlots scrambling to promote the legislation of “Acts of Love”. (that comment was not meant to disparage harlots and no actual ho’s were harmed in the parsing of that phrase).

Try this one instead: Acts 20:26-32

  6. FOAD? Brings on the way back machine. Music to the ears… haven’t heard it used in about 20 years.

  7. The problem with democracy is that it is mob rule … if 51% of your neighbors think you should give up your property or your life, they win.
The problem with local control is that it is still control. Some of the biggest statists are stuck in small, local ponds.

  8. No surprise and the columnist makes a few great points. The bottom line is that voting is violence.

I still have trouble believing the usa has become this, but you see it every day now. Given the apathy of so many and the control technology and things like obamacare will give the elites, it’s going to be nearly impossible to turn the tide.
Our unpatriotic and authioritarian president may be right about one thing, the usa may not be exceptional afterall; the usa is right on the edge of being pushed into just another great empire like england, rome and greece to be studied by historians on its downfall.

  10. The tyranny of the majority.

  11. Actually, my reply would be, “Fuck off and die, Motherfucker”. Motherfucker always leaves nothing to chance. By the time I get to saying, Fuck off and die, I’m ready for fists, knives, or gunfire.

        From the play/movie “1776”:

Hopkins: Ah, Ben! I want you to see some cards I’d gone and had printed up. Oughta save everybody here a lot of time and effort, considering the epidemic of bad disposition that’s been going on around here lately. “Dear Sir, you are without any doubt, a rogue, a rascal, a villain, a thief, a scoundrel, and a mean, dirty, stinking, sniveling, sneaking, pimping, pocket-picking, thrice double-damned no-good son of a bitch.” and you sign your name – what do you think?

Dr. Benjamin Franklin: I’ll take a dozen, right now.

        And also:

John Adams: This is a revolution, dammit! We’re going to have to offend SOMEbody!

  12. Modern Democracy is electing middlemen to steal on your behalf so you don’t have to take the risk of being shot for stealing from your neighbor, directly. Unfortunately, most folks won’t realize, until it’s too late, that the “politicians” they elected to steal for them, will be stealing from them very shortly – if they ain’t already.

Mmm… Good luck to them with that. I already understand that I’m a dead man. They are gonna have to decide which one(s) of them is going with me.

Yeah, they can pass another million laws if it makes them feel all warm and fuzzy.
But bottom line is; they can’t understand that all the power in the world still comes thru a flash suppressor.

outlawpatriot, Agreed. I knew what I was doing when I signed my life away when I joined the Corps and after 21 years, I don’t owe anyone SHIT! Anyone trying to take what I have will get a 00 buckshot enema.

  16. Every time, for the last several years, that I have said that, “It’s time! It’s past time! How long, Oh Lord, till we take the tyrants down and take the country back?”

I have been told to cool it, we need “them” to fire the first shot, get organized and trained first, develop the auxiliary, no Fort Sumpters, yeah, we know you’re frustrated but just wait a little longer till things are ripe………
followed by big talk about how we’re gonna kick ass- someday.

Time for talk is long past.

Provocation is beyond sufficient to absolve us from any scruple.

Tyranny is abundantly evident and immanent.

Knowledge becomes power only when made manifest through action.

What else do you really need to know?

It is either too late, in which case one need only strive to die well, or it soon will be so. Let us seek to live well and, if to die, to do so with reasonable hope of a victorious conclusion.

    Any other acceptable options?

The Famous line about Two Wolves and a Sheep Voting on what is for dinner comes to mind.
Thank God, we live in a country where the well armed Sheep get to contest the vote.
Semper Fi to all you other Jarheads out there.
