2) Really bad
What would you call a system featuring nominally-private ownership of entities working in concert with government and government-funded academic institutions?
This old guy has the correct answer.
Also not part of any discernible pattern:
Bottom Line Up Front: I’m creating online intelligence courses based on the ICAC, HUMINT, OPSEC, and Counterintelligence courses. To roll out the Culper Institute for Intelligence & Security (CIIS), I’m offering all courses at 25% off. Use code 25GA, and as a reader you’ll get 25% off all our current courses. On 02 September, we’ll publish IA 101: Introduction to Intelligence Analysis (which is free), and then publish at least one new course each month after that. You can decide which courses sound interesting to you, and get quality intelligence training online, at your own pace and on your own time. You can save your seat for this intelligence training here.
One thing I’ve learned about writing is that it’s very difficult to teach anyone to do something important through writing a book or article. A large part of the reason why we started the Culper Institute is to better facilitate the learning process because information is not knowledge and reading isn’t necessarily learning. I can only run so many courses, and it costs a great deal of time and money for students to travel, to stay, to eat, etc. So by doing these courses online, the plan is to fit in more knowledge and training for less money and time. (These courses, however, cannot replace in-person training. This is just a workable solution to a critical problem.)
Time is short. If you want to be a be a blessing to your community, then be the intelligence element and conduct the flow of threat intelligence. Do some analysis and provide threat estimates for your area…

Thank goodness for those fancy soap dishes.

PS: For those who are interested, secession from an existing state is also possible. Amend the titles in Bill’s work and proceed with enthusiasm.

On 02 September, we’ll be publishing our first online intelligence training, IA 101: Introduction to Intelligence Analysis. It’s free for everyone interested in what intelligence has to offer. Each month after that, we’ll be publishing at least one new intelligence course for a very affordable price. We’re teaching real, usable intelligence skills that can be used starting immediately. Intelligence is about reducing uncertainty about threats and about the future, and our aim is to enable Patriots to reduce uncertainty in their own situations.
Would you please help us in promoting it?
Our goal is to teach intelligence skills to as many Patriots and Preppers as possible in our time remaining. We’ll also be doing some live events; webinars with live lectures and Q&A sessions.
Our website is https://culperinstitute.org. We appreciate the support.
These courses are perfect for the older folks who can’t “run and gun”. If they want to be a huge help, then being the intelligence hub will pay great dividends. The only thing better than resupplying a unit with a little food and a few extra rounds is giving them an analysis of threat activity, their strength and disposition, and a targeting package.
When blacks run riot, their neighborhoods burn.
When white men run riot, continents burn.
Hint: It ain’t anything you want.
However you can.
No matter what.
