Supremes decline to hear city-based AW ban.

Do you understand yet?

  1. This lazy gang of black-robed clowns hears about 7 cases per year. The fact they did not accept this case indicates just how far out of touch they are from reality, from the people and from current events. Pathetic!

      • Yes, done on purpose.

“In an acerbic letter just 11 days before his death, Zelman wrote “An Open Letter to All American Politicians and Bureaucrats,” noting acidly,
You have done absolutely nothing effective or meaningful to stop [the erosion of our Second Amendment rights]. A preponderance of the blame can be laid directly at your feet. Why? Because many of you are, unequivocally, deceivers and liars.
How can I call you liars? Upon your election or appointment here’s what you promised us: I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take his obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

Your oath of office is a contract, both verbal and signed. If you are in breach of that contract you are now both a liar and a criminal….

What immediate convenience or passing luxury could lure so many of you into your present and insane politically correct points of view? It must be asked: Are you taking bribes? Are you being blackmailed? What is the promise or price being offered to you to so transparently betray America?

If you don’t change course, how long do you think the American people are going to tolerate your charade of loyalty?”

  2. The 5 million number estimated for ARs is way too low from what I can tell.

  3. Sent you an email CA.

  4. Just remember…

The word, “State” is an extremely complicated, nuanced word, whose very meaning is radically subjective…

…one might even argue that the interpretation of the meaning behind such a complicated word, like, “State” could be the difference between a “penalty” and a “tax.”

Like David Copperfield, the 9-headed snake can make your rights disappear in the blink of an eye, and they even hold the power to change the essence of words themselves.

They can rule that 2+2=5, and that the sky is green.

Oh well. Don’t make no nevermind.

    FUSA, baby!

  5. I really don’t have a clue, Oh wait the Simpsons are on!
    Dougnuuuts!
    Ha Haaa!
    Now what were you saying?

  6. The Taco Supreme Court strikes again.

  7. Good. Luck. You. Commie. Fucks.

  8. I realize it makes little difference that at least Thomas blasted the lower court…”If a broad ban on firearms can be upheld based on conjecture that the public might feel safer (while being no safer at all), then the Second Amendment guar- antees nothing.”
    Bravo Clarence, you grok it.

  9. Just curious if this means municipalities can now ban abortions, allow racial discrimination, legalize murder, legalize theft (sorry that’s already being done)……

  10. Actually the best challenge has not arrived for this and it is probably the reason the SCOTUS did not take it up. Understand that Illy already has a State law that prevents munis from banning the possession of firearms. However those munis that already had a ban in place was grandfathered. If the judges took up that case they would run directly into a Federalism buzzsaw without the benefit of the State making its case.

Illy State court needs to revoke the grandfather clause in the law, have it challenged then provoke appeal to SCOTUS. That way Illy stands in as the defendant rather than the prosecution.

Or would you rather have Loretta Lynch, the current AG, defending the 2nd Amendment?

    • I don’t think the majority is interested in finding the right case to spank the municipalities. Do you have statements by Court members supporting that POV?

      • Individual statements I don’t, though I will not speak for John. However, we to have the majority opinions in Heller, and the other case whose name escapes me. I would guess, off-hand, that the assenting Justices are more or less favorably inclined to a literal read of the 2nd.

      • Honest. No. Because the Court does not have to render a reason for not accepting a cert taking up the case. I am basing on the case law, Heller (5-4), MacDonald (5-4). MacDonald should have settled this matter, as it was the reversal of the 7th Court in a similar manner. The reason I am suggesting the track as offered is that it the case should be offered that it is in a State’s interest that the citizenry be armed as a defense of last resort. States Interest vis a vis the 2nd has not been tested to my knowledge.

  12. Now is the golden era.

ARs available at handgun prices around here, dozens of makes and models at all the local dealers, both chains and smaller sellers. Stacks of ammo. I bought 500 rounds in a military ammo can, all packed in 10rd stripper clips for under $200. Mags are plentiful, local Cabelas has a whole aisle of them. Not just AR-15, but 20 rd AR-10s and ones for many 22’s as well.

Give all your friends ammo for Christmas, or magazines. Or loaded magazines! Nothing says “I care” like a pair of full 30 round Magpuls

I have been surprised to notice that prices have remained so low despite what’s obviously going on right now. Anyone paying attention should have rushed out to get their AR, or another one, or a .308 semi-auto, or more ammo, back in late summer when the blonde local reporter was shot by a dindu (supposedly) on live TV.

Now, finally, the prices have inched up a little bit, after Black Friday, Paris, SanBern, Obama’s treasonous acts. Simple supply and demand says prices should have risen by now. I comment all of the big sellers for not gouging, so far. I know a few “budget” options to get a .308 semi-auto with 20-round capacity, based no the G3/HK91/CETME battle rifle (not the best ergos, but proven reliable, and at least you’ll have something with an 18″ barrel that shoots .308 reliably) one of them about $770 and the other as low as $619, two months ago, one month ago, and even 5 days ago. Sure enough the prices have inched up a little since 2 days ago. Century C308 (getting great reviews) is up to about $670 when it could be had for $600 a few months ago.

I have been monitoring these things, trying to get the cash together to be able to grab one. I am pissed off that I have not been able to buy everything I wanted to grab the last 3 months, because of course I have other financial obligations that must be met in this matrix world that has not gone fully SHTF yet.

5 judges are Roman Catholic. Clarence Thomas included. They bow to a foreign power. What’s wrong with being a D.C. Catholic? I have been in 8 countries and 15 other states and all of the Catholics say they are Roman. There’s pluses and minuses to anything.

Give Scalia credit. He expressly charged the majority in Obergefel with treason. He came as close as a sitting Justice (trying to avoid assassination; not running an alt-right blog) writing an opinion to be published in the United States Reports can to doing so. He even jabbed at the Jews by noting the “lack of diversity” on the Court. LOL.

  15. I have a different take on this. Gun owners have already gotten far more out of the Supremes, with Heller and McDonald, than they had reason to expect. Why? Because the ruling class just naturally hates armed peasants, and for good reason. The Supremes are part of the ruling class. So these latest non-decisions are just going back to the normal situation. We’d be silly to expect more from them. Anyway we don’t care what they say, do we?

    • You thought those SCOTUS rulings were for the benefit of those of us in flyover country?

DC and some other urban centers are going through some re-gentrification. It makes sense for them to help out yuppies who are joining the elite inside the beltway.

DOJ/ATF recognizes multiple states of legal residence for people who can afford it and won’t touch them when they buy firearms including handguns. Even the 1968 GCA leaves them alone.

Oh, but all hail George II for giving us our bayonet lugs back!

  16. Cops, judges and politicians… need anymore be said?
