  3. What material is this tool made from? Looks like a great tool to have… Fyi. The leatherman brand wave muiti-tool can be inserted into the ar-15 mag-well to get a bolt unstuck… (not as good an option as this new tool…) I made a “clearing rod” (6061 Aluminum) that is attached to my rifle with a few ranger bands.to knock out a stuck round / shell casing… Old school, but it works…)

      I used to do that with my new M203 (we ATL’s had just traded in our M79’s for these wonderful things) and one night after firing illum rounds for some grunts, found myself in possession of a buttstock of broken plastic and aluminum. They won’t take a beating like an M79 or M-14 stock would, so be careful while “banging” them onto the ground.
      P.S. keep an eye out for rock like things on the ground.
