    The ‘find my phone’ feature on a modern smart phone, or burner phone, could potentially be used to advantage, inter alia.

    Which other things? Oh, I don’t know….like tracking, or evading or FTX (field training exercises), or pattern monitoring, or counter surveillance. I have a very active imagination, no?

  2. There are police stations whose campuses include giant cell towers with lots of bells n whistles. I wonder why. Orwell was an optimist.

  5. Fusion Centers, secret local Homeland Security offices. Why? A lot of the Homeland Security offices are staffed by local police.
