Should The United States Continue To Participate In NATO?

More imperial decline.

Expect much gnashing and wailing from the Beltway Bandits and the MIC sponsors.

  1. “Should The United States Continue To Participate In NATO?”

The question is absurd. There is no NATO without the US. NATO is the US. Just as the EU was a US project dating back to the 1950s.

  3. Hell no we should not stay in NATO, get out and the sooner the better. If the EU wants to fight an existential external foe they can do it on their own. IMO, though they have an internal existential threat with the “religion of peace.” And NATO has no quarrel with the internal workings of a country.

  4. I have one, very simple question. Why should I get up every morning, go to work and then have money that I have earned used to pay for the defense of someone across the ocean who will NEVER come to my defense in my time of need?

  5. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. ALCON,

Not only should Amerika GTFOON but, fUSA should leave the rest of the world to it’s own defenses. Defend fUSA’s borders. Not Korea’s, etc., etc.

    Isolationism. Yep.

    Protectionism. Darn tootin’.

    Non-interventionism. That’s the ticket.

    BTW, as an aside….to the gallows, 1 + 1 + 8 + 535.

Though it is not likely to happen, I for one would love
to see them all swinging from light posts on Pennsylvania
In a week or so we would see, and smell how really rotten
    they are.
Make a great postcard though, ‘ What I Saw at the Coup ‘

Participating is one thing, principally funding is another. The former may have some value; the latter does not.

  9. “The menace of communism in this country will remain a menace until the American people make themselves aware of the techniques of communism. No one who truly understands what it really is can be taken in by it. Yet the individual is handicapped by coming face to face with a conspiracy so monstrous he cannot believe it exists. The American mind simply has not come to a realization of the evil which has been introduced into our midst. It rejects even the assumption that human creatures could espouse a philosophy which must ultimately destroy all that is good and decent.”
