Reblogged this on ETC., ETC., & ETC..
Let’s remember that Ed Feulner of the Heritage Foundation is the one who ginned up lame-duck Reagan and incoming GHW “WMD” Bush for the first executive-imposed import ban of “assault weapons.” With that kind of “heritage,” Codrea should heavily discount any soothing opinion offered by the Heritage Foundation.
stop worrying about this stuff, “Judge denies injunction…” and etc. The time when any of it will matter is fast passing. In the meanwhile, get more ammunition will you still can, and refine your local “reach out and touch” list. Also, I have a question for the resident ammo experten: what’s this “Hog Hammer” ammunition that Hornady and Federal offer? Would it also be extra-penetrative/impactive re 2-legged predators? Say, a BLM thug wearing plates? Or no better than regular, good quality .308? Naturally, I ask this question in an abstract, theoretical sense only.
“Given Obama’s record of expansively interpreting statutes—and even ignoring them—we have to assume that the UN Arms Trade Treaty would be implemented in the broadest possible manner,” Gun Owners of America weighed in. “The goal appeared to be put everything in place so a future, Democrat-dominated Senate could revisit the ATT, ratify it, and get the US on the road to international gun control.”
Dangerous plan to say the least. Many will die, especially early on when a dozen brown shirts in an armored humvee kick in a door at 0300. Following that, the brown shirts will be attrited to the point of extermination.
Al, can you give a citation for that?
Haxo: The “Hog Hammer” like the “Zombie Max” is just a marketing gimmick. Any reliable, factory-loaded 7.62X51mm ammo should do the job. If you have a semi-automatic rifle and your are thinking about JSP or hollow-point rounds, make sure your firearm has no feeding issues.
Teflon Coated projectiles scare the shit out of some people…..

What Bridgewater’s Ray Dalio Told The New York Fed:
this isn’t a normal business cycle and we are likely in an environment of abnormally slow growth
the current tools of monetary policy will be a lot less effective going forward
the risks are asymmetric to the downside
the impatience with economic stagnation, especially among middle and lower income earners, is leading to dangerous populism and nationalism.
READ THAT LAST ONE AGAIN, THAT IS US!
BE PROUD THAT YOU ARE CONSIDERED DANGEROUS ENOUGH FOR THEM TO WANT TO KILL YOU OFF. I SAID BE PROUD DAMNIT. HOLD YOUR HEAD UP TODAY, THE SMELL OF DANGEROUS NATIONALISM IS IN THE AIR, SMELLS LIKE…….. FREEDOM.
I would only note that not everyone will wait until the first door is kicked in. Some may start then the “law” is put in place. Or maybe even when Hillary is “elected”.
Piggies had better be kissing their whores good bye when they go in to work. They may not still be alive when they return home.

To the D.C. set that is the detestable stench of non-compliance and defiance: I wreak of it.
Given Obongo’s tendency, or M.O. if you will, to flout, circumvent, and just plain ignore, the law, what is supposed to prevent him from signing the treaty, making it law, and waiting in the confusion of the Senate between election day, and Inauguration Day for them to get together to override it, or whatever? And if there’s riots and demonstrations and whatnot going on in the meantime (it would be a nice time for one of their paid jihadists to go all jihad in a very public and bloody way) nobody would even be paying attention to it. Remember, stroke of a pen, law of the land? There is no law, anywhere stopping him from doing this, and no penalties either, don’t forget! Cobbled together with a couple of huff and puff EO’s, the bureaucrats and cop shops would all run with the ball.
Don’t forget, that old “community organizer” ain’t riding off into the sunset after he leaves office. He’s going to be an annoyance for some time to come. Unless somebody convinces him otherwise.
There’s only one parting shot I’m interested in.
The elites don’t want to kill us because they consider us dangerous, they want to kill us because they consider us an annoyance, like gnats. Actually, they probably value gnats over mundanes.
Thanks Wisco Dave. The 1989 lame duck shenanigans of the “conservative” Feulner that spilled into the GHW Bush admin were at a time when the internet was not quite as extensively used or archived. I would be hard-pressed to find the hard copy documentation among my very-well-organized activist files. The ripples of Fuelner’s influence apparently extended even into 1994 when, impaired by Alzheimer’s Disease, Reagan’s letter in support of the Clinton (ptui!) AW Ban persuaded some Republicans to change their position to support the Ban. http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/ronald-reagan-helped-pass-the-1994-assault-weapons-ban/
