More Colonial gasoline pipeline drama.
Brushbeater concurs, and asks a serious question.
Southland and and Midlantic, act accordingly.
well this should lead to a crisis indeed .. folks were already lined up filling up spare cans here in ne ga
Same here in the metro ATL.
Gotta say this doesn’t smell right. 2nd time in 6 months same area. A bit odd if you ask me. Not saying dumb shit doesn’t happen with that many miles of pipe but it’s got me scratching my head.
CP trying to push flow beyond system rating.
Once is happenstance; twice is coincidence; three times is enemy action.
I agree with Bishop. What we have here is a stretch of pipe that has not been maintained. Most likely an entire stretch of the line needs to be replaced.
Terries…gotta be the terries. Good timing though, just in time for the quadrennial National Lee Greenwood Day Festival. ‘Murica.
Reblogged this on ETC., ETC., & ETC..
Since we live in such interesting times, where even if the Saudis send gasoline, we still have a crumbling infastructure and imported terrorists. We certainly wouldn’t want to drill our own GD oil!
Should we be looking at:
a super high mileage Prius? They actually are nice cars, and 54 mpg is exciting.
a small 4WD like Subaru? Decent mpg, surefooted, roomy.
a diesel VW? (or some such). I don’t know much about diesels other than huge Chevy trucks.
I now have a 10 yro Honda Element. Still runs wonderfully, but about 24 mpg.
The hybrids’ batteries will fail eventually, and they’re expensive to replace.
Prius, no. When you have to replace the battery pack you are still teats up. The Lithium is the constraining factor and is primarily sourced outside of the US.
Get a VW diesel. Should be able to get one inexpensively as the Commies at EPA have filed suit against VW for fudging diesel pollution numbers.
Great mileage not to mention stored diesel lasts forever.
Best small car diesel engine in the world. Gets 70+ mpg in Europe, here they de-tuned it to get 40 mpg and then scream when VW fudges the emissions that were forced on them by EPA by making it underperform.
My sister bought a Beetle 2 yrs ago, can still barely get over 40 mpg, but a real screamer anyway.
It all depends on your situation and what you will be using it for…Is it your bugout vehicle, daily commuter, or your workhorse vehicle?
Twice is coincidence, but I dont really believe in coincidence.
Three times is enemy action.
https://helena.colonialresponse.com/ I’m local and stories changed from propane to JP4 to gas. Prepare accordingly.
