  1. the site’s there…apparently WM can’t put up anything new for some reason? On the larger issue, eventually all the main “free” and some other site servers – WP, GD, Google (blogspot), etc – will be (as with social media) converged and censored by the (((Reds/globalists/anti-Whites))). So,if you’ve got a FreeFor/hardRight etc. sort of site on the now-being converged server operations, you might want to switch it to a free speech/protected server before you get a rude shock. One (so far) good one is http://webhost.pro (inexpensive, + which has the WP and other templates) and there are quite a few others.

(later) yes, I see they’ve locked him up good. Put up a test comment and got “your comment cannot be saved” message from GD. I hope Kev saved all his archived files, otherwise….

  2. Ransomware. I really hate that national law enforcement officials have stated that the best way to get past RW is just to pay up. I hate that.

    • The best way to get past it is be smart and don’t get it. My Dad was expecting a package from Fedex. He got an email from “Fedex” stating that they had to reschedule delivery, go to this link to reschedule. Bam! He got hit with RW and didn’t think to disconnect from the internet immediately. It synced with his online mirror and he lost everything.

Mcafee told him that there is no way to break it except by getting the key from the asshole and that lately they have been taking money and not giving the key.

Have an air gap backup that is done at least weekly.

    • Get yourselves Trend-Micro antivirus. Best AV on the market – period! If I can post a link? – https://www.trendmicro.com/en_us/forHome/products/free-tools.html. Tools to help with some ransomware/malware/spyware/virii that you may have gotten hit with. Hope this helps some. . .

this clown is still banging the’ them evil terrists attacked the WTC and Pentagram on 911′. he knows it was an inside job to enslave america with it’s poLICE StaighT and to enrich his (((bankster))) buddies.

so we’ll all be forced to BOHICA and fund yet another goatfuck of a war. i’m so tired of this bullshit and the fucking lies that the stupid murkins gobble down like a triple chin Big Mac and fries.

    • Never forge t that the puppets were also anyone who voted for anybody!

  5. Lessons to be learned here. Let’s go over a few of them:

If you have a site, back it up. Preferably multiple backups – at least one online and one local (this is the priority) under your direct control. Storage is pretty cheap now. After you get this set up, it only needs to be refreshed every week or so.

Ransomware – I don’t think GoDaddy are choirboys, but I kinda doubt they’re the bad guys here. Maybe someone posing as them? There are a lot of other providers to use if GoDaddy is pulling stunts like this. Seems counter-intuitive.

As far as paying up – I have not been successful in defeating ransomed devices. I have been able to wipe and re-image them, but that is probably
not the optimum solution in this case. Blackmail usually ends in tears – and that can apply to any or all of the involved parties. The only way to win is to not play.

    Good luck, WM.

    • Any idea how to back up an entire sire, like this, onto a hard drive?

      • wordpress.com allows for exporting, and then when you import to a local installation of wordpress.org, it will give the option to import the media too

“But if you want to back up your blog content manually, you are free to do so by using the My Site → Settings, Export tab option described above. This is certainly still a good idea, especially if you’ve assigned additional users to your blog. Editors and administrators have the ability to delete any posts or pages, and there is no way to recover material that they remove from your blog.

        >Note: This will ONLY export your posts, pages, comments, categories, and tags. If you’d like to backup the media files as well, you will need to install WordPress.org locally on your computer, and run the import from it. This process will download the media files to your computer.”

      • Here’s some info –

There’s more if you Google for it. You might want to look over a few other and decide what works for you.

      • I did mine one long section of posts at a time before opening another long section of older posts in a new window and repeating the process again. Then I decided it wasn’t worth it to play the game since the next site could just get shut down as well.

Wm is up and running this morning.

By comparison the left wing militia site for BAMN never suffered a disruption in service.

        Who run barter town.

  6. Hmmm….,well, certainly enjoy the site/host and fellow posters so hope Weaponsman back up soon,a lot of things happening in this country, add em all up one gets a bit suspicious, perhaps I am just paranoid.Eh,I am paranoid, still,”interesting”times.

  7. Ann Barnhard has similar issues right now

  8. Any word yet?
    I’m Jonesin’

  9. He’s back up, as of now.

  10. Ransomware/Cryptlocker sucks ass is all I can say. Luckily I had a NAS drive that had a couple day old backup of critical files. It was delivered by some trojan payload that Symantec detected after the fact, when it was too late. It cleaned the virus and payload, but again too late. The machine began acting strange and slow.

One essential tip if you do backup up frequently to an external drive/nas, DO NOT MAP THE DRIVE!!!. If you map the drive then the cryptlocker can encrypt those files as it propagates itself. I wouldn’t trust the big named anti-virus companies to catch this either. Especially Symantec since they’re the ones who openly disclosed a backdoor remained (keys left behind) to unlock your files. That hole has been closed by the perps. thanks to them.

I’ve used CryptoPrevent (free) since then, it monitors and controls group/user policies of your pc that ransomware targets.
