  1. Not one of you read that in its entirety.

    A.D.D.

Me neither, but I read enough to know that we should… and I will.

    • Oughtsix, I did, and my 4 sons as well. I realize some will flame me for my view but I am grateful for Gods grace and mercy. The horrific descriptions have me looking forward to the day that the LORD returns and makes His enemys a footstool under His feet. The Green family can garden, farm, repair, wrench, fish, hunt and play bluegrass and sing but the one thing we do as a family that stands head and shoulders above all other skills and talents: worship God and pray for His will to be done. We plan, prep and practice but prayer, to us, is the key to our joy in the midst of the horrors of reality like this linked article describes. Pete, thank you for providing the resources necessary for us to think and train for what’s coming. We pray for you and all men of good will here at WRSA.
Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle; he is my steadfast love and my fortress,
my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield and he in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me.

      • OD, I wish we could meet. Everything you said is what I’ve been trying to live for forty + years, less the whole hearted commitment and support of a wife and large family. My daughter and her husband have done it entirely
and well, and their have two wonderful kids who are on board all the way… so I guess I did all right.

I’ve gardened since 1970, went homesteading “back to the land” in ’78, built my own home etc, and have been playing bluegrass music since 1963, banjo and fiddle.

I share your Faith and pray daily to know His will, and for the strength to carry it out.

If you wish to have a conversation with a friend, Pete would put us in contact.

Thanks for being and doing as you are. Best wishes.

        • Congratulations to you. You made good choices and therefore
your “afterlife” should continue in your footsteps.

“Everyman to his family and his belongings”

        • Thanks oughtsix, I appreciate your kind words and do wish I could get to know some of the like minded men here. We all seem so far away from each other. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.
My 16 yr. old plays the banjo, he has become quite good at it, and my 22 yr. old daughter plays the fiddle, we love jamming as a family, it’s so much fun. Glad to hear your daughter and son in law are on board, it does make life easier! Proverbs 27:17 “Iron sharpens iron and one man sharpens another”.

      • No flame whatsoever here but an honest question Odgreen. If you are grateful for Gods freely offered grace (Rom 5:14-21), which He offers to each and every one of us (Titus 2:11); how and why is He, at the same time, training your hands for physical war? The two positions are mutually exclusive. God is EITHER offering the world a grace period (He is), OR He will return as prophesied in wrath and SWRHTF (He will).

        Today…

2 Cor 5:19-21… “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath MADE HIM TO BE SIN for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

If these words are true (they are) where is the physical battle you believe you are being trained for? God is NOT imputing (attributing) mans sins to man. He put sin itself on Christ (made Him to BE sin), the Just One, as only the Just can possibly pay for sin, the unjust, you and me. He destroyed sin on the cross and offers this sacrifice as a gift to all men everywhere. Every awful one of us.

Whom is God subduing on your (awful) behalf if He has reconciled the entire world unto Himself? I ask the same reminding you that He has declared in no uncertain terms:

Rom 3:23… “For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

What makes you more worthy than another that God would subdue another on your behalf?

        Something here ain’t right.

You write… “The horrific descriptions have me looking forward to the day that the LORD returns and makes His enemys a footstool under His feet.”

Those horrific descriptions are man on display in all his “glory”. Mans natural state, as Cain killed his brother, is murderer and liar.

Amos 5:18-20… “Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. Shall not the day of the Lord be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?”

If ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God (ALL includes me and you), are we not, as sinners, His enemies? If all the world was declared sinners, enemies of God, are we not the ones who will be made His footstool? Yikes!

        Paul however declares…

Rom 5:10… “For if, when we were ENEMIES, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”

Thank God indeed for grace toward His ENEMIES!

Paul informs us that our battle is NOT with flesh and blood (as God has reconciled the whole world unto Himself for the time being), but with bigger and badder things.

Eph 6:12… “For we wrestle NOT against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

It is flesh and blood that God wants saved. Is it not?

Grace and wrath are mutually exclusive. How can God offer free grace to a world He is pouring out wrath upon? There is no sense there. Some would have to be more “worthy” than others and that just ain’t accurate if Romans 3:23 is true. In time past Israel WAS more “worthy” as God created that nation intentionally to be the channel of blessing from Himself to the Gentile nations. God gave them the law that they were to follow. They were to be (and will someday be) a nation of priests. They failed to follow Gods perfect law as any man would have. Something else must be occurring today for Paul’s words to be accurate. Grace. It stands alone.

Rom 3:21… “BUT NOW the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;”

You seem like a real serious guy, a guy who cares deeply, just like oughtsix. I respect that very much. There is a disconnect in your thoughts however. I ask you to consider your theology very carefully and encourage your questions (email below). Psalm 144:1… simply cannot be in play today if 2 Cor 5 is.

Psalm 144:7… “Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;”

Has Christ NOT delivered you completely from this present evil world? Are you in physical captivity as Israel was?

Gal 1:3-4… “Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:”

There is Gods very will for man displayed. He gave His Son that all might be delivered from sin in its entirety!

Are you asking God for forgiveness rather than thanking Him for already forgiving you ALL your trespasses?

Col 2:13… “And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you ALL trespasses;”

If one is currently asking for forgiveness (praying the “Lords prayer” as such), has one actually received the forgiveness God freely offers? It is simply there for the taking! Forgiveness is a gift that must be received as any other gift. The gift becomes yours when you accept it. Have you reconciled yourself to God as He has reconciled Himself to you?

2 Cor 11:3… “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the SIMPLICITY that is in Christ.”

You write… “…worship God and pray for His will to be done.”

What is the overriding will of God for man today in this dispensation of grace? Simply…

1 Tim 2:3-4… “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; Who will have ALL men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”

That ALL men would be saved of their own free will and volition; and further, to come to full understanding of all that entails.

Rom 5:1-2… “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”

Our hope should be in Gods freely offered grace to ALL, Gods glory, Christ crucified FOR US, His enemies; not in His wrathful return. That is a day none of us should wish upon anyone. It likely will turn out very badly for such a one.

1 Thes 5:18… “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

        So simple…

        grace and peace.

        • Sorry for butting in here, but you kinda struck a chord, preacher man. This isn’t a flame, either, just my POV.

You said, “If you are grateful for Gods freely offered grace (Rom 5:14-21), which He offers to each and every one of us (Titus 2:11); how and why is He, at the same time, training your hands for physical war? The two positions are mutually exclusive.”

Simply, no, they aren’t. Man has a duty to protect those he’s charged with. The skills to do that mean being able to have ‘fingers to fight and hands to war’. Then there’s Nehemiah 4:14-23 to help out, as well. If a man is a saved child of God and have worked out your own salvation, and will stand idly by and watch your loved ones be slaughtered, or go let other men fight in your stead while claiming ‘grace’, that man is an abject coward, and if it’s God’s will, will face a special hell for his cowardice and lack of love. Didn’t Christ say, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”? (John 15/13)

That might mean fighting for someone. To fight, you need Psalm 133:1 & 2 and a slew of others, along with some hard, consistent training.

          My .02

        • No contradiction here grace county. Just a sinner saved by grace. Called forth from darkness into His marvelous light with absolutey no effort on my part because I am nothing but a worm. There is no way a fallen man can “figure out on his own” that he needs Christ. Christ must first call him.
God, having out of his mere good pleasure, from all eternity, elected some to everlasting life, did enter into a covenant of grace to deliver them out of the estate of sin and misery, and to bring them into an estate of salvation by a Redeemer. We had nothing to do with it, that is classic Arminianism, thinking somehow a fallen man could just up and decide, apart from direct intervention from God, to become saved. I never said God was training me for a physical battle, but you can bet that as a Christian husband and father of 35 years I have been in one long, unending battle with the powers and principalities of the air. Christians must engage in spiritual warfare or give ground to evil. This is a favorite scripture of mine because it fits the description of a praying dad who blesses the Lord every day for His strength and power and might for He IS my stronghold and deliverer, He IS my shield in which I take refuge and I believe the “peoples He subdues under my feet” are anyone who has harm in mind for me and my families. The Psalms are beautiful, they are a type of Christ, we sing them in worship on the Lords Day but we also sing hymns which sing of our Lord and Redeemer fully realized. I will defend myself and my family because of Gods prohibition against murder. If I allow someone to harm my family I have failed to provide for them and Paul says that that man is worse than an infidel. The Lord will, in His perfect time, as His Word says, put all of His enemies under His feet. I am sorry you consider yourself an enemy of God! When I was saved, God became my King my Lord my Savior my Friend. He walks with me, He talks with me, He leads me with His Holy Spirit, I don’t think a Soverign Lord would do these things with an enemy! I hope you’ll see I am firmly grounded in the Faith delivered, once for all, to our fathers. I am yours in Christ, ODGreen

    • “Not one of you read that in its entirety.”

and that’s why you will perish old timer. you assume you know how everyone thinks.

      and you are miserably wrong!

      • I read it all. Mixed reaction. Too many of Sandlin’s statements about the war are not factual; he seems to have read fairly widely in conventional narrative sources, but not deeply into firsthand accounts. Just one example among dozens: his statement that “after Midway the Japanese did not win a single major engagement against the Americans”. In fact, at the onset of the Pacific War, the American military – particularly in the matter of naval and air-sea operations – was so technically/objectively inferior to the Japanese that it took not one, not two, but three “decisive victories” (Coral Sea, Midway, Guadalcanal) to get the upper hand. At Guadalcanal alone (August, 1942-January, 1943) there were 7 major naval/air-sea battles. The Japanese won clear-cut victories in 4 of the 7: Savo, Rennel Island, Santa Cruz (a carrier battle), and Tassafaronga. But they lost the one that mattered most, a November 11-November 16th bloodbath that doesn’t even have an agreed-upon name.

as a philosophical rumination on War itself, though, it’s a keeper.

  2. And of what does this horrific recounting of the utter devastation avail?

No one on the other side is listening, or knows any of the history, much less gives a damn about the consequences of their arrogant ideology or the fate of millions.

There are “realists” on “our” side who have a similar moral blindness.

This is how and why such things happen.

    Human. Nature.

  3. If I thought, for one minute, that “those around me” would actually read, comprehend the significance of, and act in a rational/local way to said comprehension……………….

I send the best of the best of the content here far and wide and the response makes crickets sound like a rock concert.

    Everybody take a drink!

    • and yet you dismiss my observations as nonsense.

      • No, I dismiss you as a bilious, hateful narcissist, from whom little of valuem or good can come.

Your “observations” (and cliche little videos) are little more than a repetitive litany of the obvious evils We All See with the certainty that doom is inevitable. Along with your insufferable glee at being so very “right” and superior to every one else, and the stark absence of any sort of solution, guidance (other than bend over and kiss your asses goodbye) or compassion makes your very being on the side of the evil you rail about.

I would hope that you reap what you sow, but that is the one thing that is, beyond doubt, inevitable.

  4. Those who would deliberately bomb enemy civilians will do the same to their own people given the opportunity/reason to do so. Waco showed us this is so. Oh, and they went home and slept well at night.

    Harden your heart, indeed.

    • And Ruby Ridge.

Lon Horiuchi went home, banged the old lady, had a couple beers and slept like a cat on a hearth. That miserable, murdering cocksucker.

        DISCLAIMER

TomatoBubble.com is very proud of the founding principles that America was built upon: limited government, God given rights, free enterprise, sound currency, and a Christian-based moral code.

What we are deeply ashamed of, is not what America was supposed to be, but rather, what it has become.
        ====================================================

Nice. However, nowhere in the U.S. Constitution is there any mention of “God given rights.” That was only found in the Declaration of Independence, which the Constitution superseded. All rights granted in the Constitution are man-given.

Nor was the U.S. built upon “a Christian-based moral code.” It was Protestant-based, and the problem arising out of this is most blatantly found in the First Amendment, which divorces true Christian morals from the State, thereby allowing amoral/immoral heterodoxy to permeate throughout. And yes, we should all be deeply ashamed of this, but not because of what America has become, but because it has become precisely what it was supposed to.

  5. “The War To Save Joseph Stalin”

    I keep seeing this.

On 23 August 1939, Stalin and (((Schicklgruber))) became allies. Time Magazine repeatedly referred to the Pact as the “Communazi Pact” and its participants as “communazis” until April 1941.

The pact included the secret protocol dividing Eastern Europe between the two.

On 1 September 1939 (((Schicklgruber))) invaded Poland. The UK declared war on September 3. Stalin joined the invasion from the east on 17 September in accordance with the alliance.

For the next several months there were considerable misgivings about whether Stalin would continue to work with (((Schicklgruber))) in his drive westward. Beginning in August 1940, (((Schicklgruber’s))) bombers were providing nocturnal unplanned demolitions in London, with the UK and Commonwealth nations providing such in kind as they were able.

As of 21 June 1941, Stalin was still (((Schicklgruber’s))) ally. Among other things, raw materials were being sold and transported by rail from the USSR to Germany. It is said that westbound troop trains carrying participants in the next day’s festivities passed ore trains headed to the Ruhr, but I have no documentation for that.

Stalin chose to fight back. I don’t blame him; in his position, I would too. The alliance of convenience with the UK and eventually the US did have the effect of “saving Stalin, but it is an act of extraordinary historical ignorance to call WW2 “The War To Save Joseph Stalin”.

By the way, (((Schicklgruber))) declared war on the US first, and the US declaration was more of an “oh yeah, we’ll see about that”. Whether we’d have got around to it eventually, deponent sayeth not, but if it was me I’d have concentrated manpower efforts against Japan while providing material assistance to the British. As far as I’m concerned, it worked out well.

    • In the “last good war”, the USA allied with a greater mass murderer against a great mass murderer.

Although it is not the conventional formulation (deliberately so), how is that a statement of extraordinary historical ignorance?

      Serious question.

      • Simon & Garfunkel answered that a long time ago—“A man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest.” That’s how they come up with gems like this—“Stalin chose to fight back. I don’t blame him; in his position, I would too.”

Stalin for crissakes—blameless cuz how the dice fell.

      • Because as stated, it is incorrect by omission.

We did not ally ourselves with, or go to war against, ANYBODY because of their domestic murder rates.

When Germany declared was on The US, the US found itself on the same side as other nations which Germany had declared war on. This included most of the English speaking world, various escapees from countries Germany had occupied, and yes, The USSR.

Calling WW2 “the war to save Stalin” is like calling the Second War of Independence “the war to burn Atlanta”– or even “the war to free the slaves.”. Both conflate real undeniable effects with true objectives; minimize and cheapen the true objectives; and leave a false impression. This is a form of deception, frankly, up with which I will not put.

        • Respectfully, with the level of Russian communist influence within the Roosevelt administration both prior to and during the war, I’m pretty sure no one honestly assessed the costs of that alliance or, more granularly, the puts and takes of letting the Soviets get driven back past Moscow and Stalingrad. There was a way to bleed out the Germans and the Reds that would have been in the long-term interest of the United States; instead, every effort was made to support the Soviet war effort, Uncle Joe, and his Party.

And really – characterizing the blood-drenched Soviets as having a problem with “domestic murder rates” is pretty disingenuous.

I get that the phrase is jarring – it is so, purposefully. FDR destroyed what remained of the constitutional republic after the Progressives’ campaign in the earlier part of the century. His war — his and his buddy Winston’s war — identified the German National Socialists as a greater threat to the world than the Red Communists, and everything else in WW2 derived from that calculation. Both forms of collectivism were in fact murderously evil, and Americans do themselves no favors by pretending otherwise.

The USA and the British Empire were allied with the USSR against Hitler’s Germany.

We chose a greater murderer as our ally against a great murderer.

Those are simply facts, painful as they may be to those still bewitched by “Good War” propaganda.

          • and not only this. The communist mass murders in Russia had, by 1941, been going on for two decades and were a known quantity. In 1941 the Third Reich had only just begun it’s ethnic massacres. So, in fact, Roosevelt/Churchill chose to ally with the Red butchers against a regime that had no such record. Some people even think that that the Nazis’ subsequent massacres – of Jews in particular – were forced by the Allies’ persistent escalation of the war beyond a point where Germany had any reasonable expectation of winning. By and by I will produce a book documenting this argument.

          • The notion is one I coined for many reasons and Pete alludes to them.

The FBI identified five, read that five, active Soviet agents in the US from 1939-45. The Venona decrypts discovered 200 and the USSR ventures guesses of 400. I suspect there were thoudsands of useful idiots who helped Center in Moscow during the conflict. The Offal Office was so compromised as a funnel to the Kremlin, Stalin knew of the existence of the A-bomb before Truman. Most likely transmitted by Harry Dexter White or Harry Hopkins, both confidantes of RedDR,

The evidence in the results and not the intent. The leveling of Germany and Japan made the Communist enterprise able to absorb significant parts of the planet as the war made the world safe for Communism.

Isn’t it odd that the Japanese as allies with Germany and the lesser Axis powers maintained a neutrality pact with Russia until 9 August 1945? I suggest you examine the conflict in China where entire Japanese armies were annihilated by Russian forces.

As agreed at Yalta by RedDR and his creature, Churchill, the Soviet Union had intervened in the war with Japan within three months of the German surrender,

The American involvement in the War to Save Josef Stalin is what accelerated Lincoln’s project of a warfare/welfare state of gargantuan proportions in the US.

            Cordially,

            Bill Buppert

          • So absolutely correct. Hope we can get over that FDR illusion one day.

  6. Definitely worth reading the entire essay. If your uncle’s and family friends fought in WWII it will strike a chord. If you have tasted even a little of war it will resonate, especially the inability to ever describe what “it was really like” and that it will always be there with you.

To the larger point, any future clash of civilizations will indeed be almost unfathomable as there will be no desire for reconciliation.

  9. I have – and will read it again. I read these types of accounts all the time – because I want to experience hell on a printed page and not in reality.

Far too many people will look away – and then ignore the world around them that will make shit like this happen again.

If the alt-right is going to stand for anything – then it should stand for NOT letting something like this happen here in this country. The fact that Germany is being overrun with Muslims now and is run by a gynocracy – has a DIRECT connection to the shit that went down turing WW2. If the alt-right wants to get out of lefty hell – then one way we do that is by direct opposition to ANY forces that try to drag us into war.

When a nation goes to war – the civilians are the power behind the armies. WIthout the civilians filling the ranks of the infantry – there is no war.
Therefore – burning up enemy cities is an entirely justifiable response when you have been attacked. IMHO.

That principle works both ways. Remember that when the cloud people are out there stirring up shit.

  10. My dear old dad told me (he served in an artillery unit) that when they came upon a village in Germany they’d send in a small recon unit. If said unit received any fire, they’d withdraw. Then the artillery unit would open up and lay waste to the village. Blow it up and burn it down. Any ‘prisoners’ were summarily executed. Those with SS tats or insignia were executed without delay. That is ‘total war’.

Also instructive is to keep in mind that the fucking Japs and those mongoloid Russian apes were happy to expend millions of their citizens lives to prosecute the war. MILLIONS!

    • There’s also a story out there about the village of Spicher, Germany…Patton laid it to waste, and then planes returning on bomb runs would try to,’save one for Spicher’ and give it to them if they could. Story was that a similar team was sent by Patton, on his way to Bitburg, the local Waffen SS HQ in the area, into Spicher to tell the civilians to stay out of the way or they’d get killed. Basically, the party was captured and hung on light poles. This was observed and reported to GHP Jr, and he went on to destroy the village.

I went through Spicher in 1975, the WWII survivors were all amputees of one sort or another, absolutely hated Americans, which we weren’t prepared for, being 18 and full of patriotic fervor and all. In fact, before we went, my NCOIC told us to take all the pictures we wanted, but not to eat there unless we wanted a terminal case of the shits….There was still a lot of war damage, and not many complex buildings or structures standing…30 years after the close of hostilities.

Can I verify that with records? No….but I know what I saw, and I know how we were treated.

      • Lived in W. Germany in the late 60s/early 70s and the metro area that I lived in had mostly been rebuilt but there were some buildings that were still being worked on. Some Germans were friendly but most were aloof and did not care much for a bunch of Americans living in/occupying their country.

Walking in the “woods” one day we found the remnants of some unknown skirmish… nazi helmets, knives and brass. Probably shoulda kept some as souvenirs.

Went to W. Berlin on a train and fucked with the E. German guards at one stop in the middle of the night, much to the chagrin of the MPs in the last car. I did have a piece of the Berlin wall with barb wire, but Hurricane Katrina took care of that piece of history.

  11. The Girondists were decent people, too.

Libertarians are fifty shades types, and exactly how is our current society doing? In order for something to run at peak efficiency it needs to be distilled to a binary point. Yes or no. On or off. Hell, even our hijacked political process is a vestigial of this common knowledge. Lack of binary choices and the subsequent removal of personal accountability is why we’re up Schitts Creek right now. When this pendulum swings back and over corrects those smart enough to reason why Joshua, Josiah, a whole duece-load of Roman Emporers and any tin horn dictator who clung to power for longer than ten months made such effort to crush the opposition. Count in gardeners for that, too. They understand even if they can’t apply the abstract.
Now, you can virtue signal and tell all about how you don’t suppport, believe, think that way but it matters no shits. It’s a binary, remember? And if you don’t choose what’s the other guys default value? You’ll know, because you’re giving him the power of your choice.

Rough weather ahead. Tfat may be correct. Cato the Elder: He’s still an asshole.

  12. I am a proponent of scorched earth. Destroy the ability of an adversary, both mentally and physically, of their ability to wage war. Peace is achieved by overwhelming military superiority and your ability to strategically utilize that power while minimizing your casualties.Winning hearts and minds is wonderful..after you have unleashed holy hell. . Everything else is half-stepping.The US has not deciseively won and finished a conflict in a long time.Political correctness, diversity, inclusion and equality are your enemy. Some men are more qualified to be warriors than others.Fact of life.
” He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight.” Sun Tzu

    • Will we be able to scorch our own earth when the time comes ?

      • The “choice” may not be ours to make. Survival of our families and tribe will be dependent on tough choices and conditions we may not control. War sucks. Losing a war sucks worse. Think Vlad.

      • Already been done once. 150 years ago. Don’t see why it can’t be done again.

Shit… TP’sTB have been “winning hearts and minds” in America with very little overwhelming “military” superiority. Even worse, the vast majority of that “superiority” is just threats. That is roughly 900,000 LE enforcers to 316,000,000 civilians. Heck, TP’sTB could have the CPS, in the presence of a few cops and a court order, take every newly first born out of the hospital, and offer it on the alter of Baal, and at worst, you’d see a bunch of people arguing in court… and maybe some, “resisting” by bearing their children at home and “under the radar”.

If the TP’sTB went full retard today, the “resistance” would be a blip on the radar. That little “patriot movement” that fits on the pointy end of a needle that would actually fight… scratch that… shed blood… couldn’t possibly rely on those “other patriots”:

      https://mojavedesertpatriot.files.wordpress.com/2015/09/reality-2.jpg?w=300&h=235

Because “patriotism” for the “right” is when your guy wins… nothing more. And a little bitching, when your guy loses. Give them a few Hellfire missiles, and they’ll grumble in their basements.

      • All true. I can’t figure out why you don’t see the logical implications of it. Logic isn’t about theory, you know. You think maybe others will be persuaded and you’ll end up with the biggest gang, just like those you say you oppose. Yeah, I know…but for the “right” ends.

Whatever the goal is aside, Sean could explain it to you…gotta work with what you got. That’s why it’s called “pulling rabbits out of the hat.” That’s how it looks to others and in many ways, that’s what it is.

Begin at the beginning—you got you. THEN move forward.

  14. One thing more. Does anyone truely believe that the nazis, the japs, later the commies, now the jihadis and or the deep staters would not have or will not now, devestate any who stand in their way if they had or have now the means to do so? I suspect that any of these forces would have and may still try to do exactly that, and with zero conscience.

  15. Christopher nails it, 100%. If you believe the fairy tale crap and nonsense of being the “nice guy” in war, you’re not going to make it into any history books, except as footnotes by the victors. The essay, long, was a pleasure to read, because it was a thoughtful analysis of a thoughtful man. I have always understood the point of all those who, post-war, believed that the bombs should have never been dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Had I been a B-29 crew member about to do it, I would have smiled in appreciation, and dropped them anyway. Wars are not won by thoughtful people. Wars are won by hard men, making hard decisions, to preserve their people, and their land. WW2 was nearly won by the hard men who were our enemies. We won by being a little harder, and faster. Take your pick. Sit up there on that mythical high moral ground, and fail, or get down in that gutter and kill. Try not to bore me with how I will become what I allegedly hate, and that I’ll lose my heart and soul. That is an accomplished fact. The long view is that my progeny and beyond will not have face that business, and have at least a chance of being free. Morality is an unaffordable luxury in the hell storm of war. Immoral behavior like any other on-purpose sin, it is forgivable, and you confess it to G*d, try never to do it again, and you go on. Why do you think the Son of G*d groaned on the Cross? To my way of thinking, He knew and saw tremendous moral depravity being committed by other wise good men and women, and knew they would seek the forgiveness of His Perfect Sacrifice, even though they did these things deliberately. Only through that Perfect Sacrifice could they ever find redemption. The Glory of G*d is the fact that while we are no good, filthy rotten sinners, always, we are forgiven, if we but ask to come under the Blood. Only an Almighty, and Perfect G*d can come up with such a plan. We are clay. Adjust your moral considerations and activities accordingly.

    • Your usual clarity and objectivity, Sean. Thanks.

  18. What a wonderful collection of Nazi’s, Raciest, Psyco’s and religious zelots. Most of you have far more in common with “White Storm Front” or WAR than you do with Liberty. I wonder how many of you have the balls to admit that the left wingnuts are right about you. Your personal belief systems are those of the old KKK; NOT the FREEFOR. You HATE , and you hate EVERYBODY that isn’t like you. The carpet bombing of civilian targets in WW2 was the greatest war crime in history. Almost all innocent women and children. The lust some of you show for it is both disgusting and horrifying. You are cowards, not men. If we ever do have to fight to reclaim our G_D given rights I hope all of you die quickly. We don’t need scum who advocate the murder of women and children, and murder based on race on our side. Don’t like that? WELL FUCK YOU VERY MUCH. I’m proud that people that think it’s OK to murder babies hate me.

    • What is a war crime, Ray?

    • when Ray sees a black mob about to do a Nashville Horror on his family…he will first inquire of the ‘groids if there are any libertarians among them. You absolutely do not want to 86 the next Thomas Sowells.

    • Ray,you forgot to call us misogynists and baby killers. Ever held a buddy with his guts all over you? Ray,have you willingly put your life in jeopardy to save your buddy or a complete stranger? I always want the other motherfucker trying to kill me,dead before me. Babys are collateral damage. They grow up to be soldiers and your enemy. A baby will murder you in your sleep ,Ray, when Babi Yagar gets through with them. Sleep tight.
