  1. The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos.

    • The most dangerous man is the man who has nothing left to lose.

    • No one single man who manage to think it through is all that dangerous to the PTTB….

It’s when a plurality manages to do that, that it become a problem. The problem has another side, however, in that all those dangerous individualistic thinkers have a great deal of trouble coming to any sort of effective agreement, effective agreement being crucial to the accomplishment of any goals whatsoever.

So much for self congratulatory smiley faces.

    • I’d like to amend your great comment with, The most dangerous people to any form of tyranny is a people who effectively change their form of government that not only respects and defends the ideas of self determination and prosperity, liberty, otherwise known as not meddling in their affairs, but also practices the same regarding other nations and peoples.

The only viable eternal positive consequence foreign policy is to mind our own business, stick to our own interests inside our borders, and along the sea lanes, and build the most dangerous finest fighting military money and will can provide.
That becoming the self sufficient economic and industrial giant, by producing the best products, leading the world in science and invention, partnering with like minded people in pursuit of excellence and prosperity, something we have done, and we can certainly be again, we lead by example, we set precedence, we become so prosperous and strong, it doesn’t matter what the rest of the world does, nobody will seriously fuck with us. And if they want to, we go in and exterminate the fuckers behind it, pull out, and leave behind a smoking hole in the ground for the rest to ponder the wisdom of screwing with us again.
But if we make our country the best it can be, mind our own business, our example will have far more positive effects in this world than leave opportunity for the worse.
The rest of the world, like ourselves, needs to get it’s shit together. Us dirt people, we must throw the bums out and take back our prosperity, realise our intrinsic wealth to the full extent, and by doing so change this world.
Nobody else is going to do that, nobody else has the power or the desire.
It keeps coming round to the same thing every time. It is always, and never anyone else’s purview, but the dirt people, through the entire history of humanity, who have ever effected positive change in this world.

  3. It is entirely possible to disagree with both republicans and democrats. It’s called thinking for yourself.

  4. So, the problem is recognized, and seen clearly. What now? Whatever comes of the Big Change, we’re going to have to work with the situation as it is, not as we wish it were. Since is seems to be a kind of consensus here that, Republic, Democracy, Socialism, Communism, Oligarchy, Dictatorship, Monarchy, Anarchy, etc, doesn’t work, and never will, what then is the alternative? What we have is roundly cursed and condemned, and the flaws are evident. All I see is a lot of confusion, a great deal of trying to locate the truth, and a great deal of controversy as to what is actually the truth. I don’t have the handle on a solution either. But two things are going to have to happen for things to work out. An understanding that, whatever is tried, it has to be able to work with the materials at hand, not as we wished they were. And it is going to have to be palatable and understandable to those who are its’ aim. I would add as an aside, that talking down to the people you hope to sway, is counterproductive. And the Tower of Babel failed in its’ goal because the builders couldn’t understand each others language.

    • You know my plan Sean and until someone comes up with something better I’m going to continue on that path…
