Hey Millennials! Communism Sucks – I Lived It

The real deal.

Amazon blurb:

Paylie Roberts spent the first eight years of her life living under communist rule in Poland. From age eight on she grew up in the US and became so Americanized that she refused to acknowledge her native Polish heritage, including her birth name. Only after researching the history of why her family was exiled from Poland by the communist government did she realize the tremendously important and unique lessons that the Polish Solidarity movement offers about overcoming tyranny, oppression, and corruption, and how these lessons are imminently relevant and applicable to America today. Paylie combines her personal story with historical facts and sheds light on the many unnerving similarities between growing up in communist Poland in the early 1980s and life in the US now, in a way that is engaging, insightful and inspiring. She recounts her memories of living under the Soviet Union’s rule over Poland, as her family struggled along with most other Poles just to survive. This book also includes memories that are only told by Poles as they were never recorded in “official” history due to media censorship during those years. Paylie wrote this book not only to honor the brave Polish people (including her parents) for defeating tyranny using largely non-violent means, but also with the hope of spreading knowledge that could help prevent her worst fears from manifesting regarding what the future in “free” America may hold.

My review, from 2016:

Essential in understanding the former United States of America both today and tomorrow, “Memories of Poland” is well-written, heavily footnoted, and tragically persuasive. In capturing what life was like behind the Iron Curtain, the author shows us what life will be like here as socialist tyranny progresses. Even more importantly, she explains how the captive Polish people were able to defy their rulers and create a new future for their country.

Buy two copies: one for you, and one to be shared by the young people in your life.

Highly recommended.

  1. “It didn’t matter if you worked hard — your pay was equal to the guy who barely showed up for work, or came to work drunk. The only way to advance was to join the political elite: the Communist party.

Imagine a system where the key to success wasn’t hard work or merit, but conniving and politics. If you sold your soul to the devil, you were rewarded.”

This sounds exactly like what the armchair American communist LARP’ers want; god knows they don’t want to work.

  2. Pleased to see Roberts getting a second review here. A glimpse behind the curtain.

  3. The brief period of access to the (((Soviet))) archives confirmed that Solidarity was, from start to finish, a construct of controlled “opposition.”

For Catholics there is a horrible connection.

(((Wojtyla the [second] Worst’s))) affiliation with Solidarity, his survival when truly Catholic Polish bishops did not, and his affiliation with Bishop Stanislaw Wielgus (an exposed collaborator) are suggestive that “St. John Paul the Great” too was a Communist collaborator with the Sluzba Bezpieczenstwa (SB), the Polish secret police..

The Novus Ordo cult took great pains to fabricate an image of “St. John Paul the Great” as a fierce opponent of (((Communism))). Anti-Pope Ratzinger even suppressed an investigation underway about the Polish hierarchy (about 15% of which were thought to be collaborators) likely because he knew the risk that (((Wojtyla’s))) collaboration would come to light.

Truth is its own defense. But, these SJW/Special Snowflakes will not listen. I would wager, given my experience as a part-time educator for the last 20+ years, most of these blithering idiots can barely read and comprehend the printed truth of this article.
I and others have expressed these following facts on this site many times previous: When the music stops and the electronic pacifiers no longer function, when the stores rung out on Nacho Cheese Doritos and Pepsi, and when the EBT and SNAP cards no longer function, then they will understand.
It will be too late, of course. They will be culled in the Blue Hives by the Gangsters and Vato Locos. And, they will be culled here by me and folks like me. We are the ones who have seen this coming for a long time and continue to plan, prep, and train every day. Harden your hearts. Bleib ubrig.

  5. Re, Communism; The indoctrination industry (“education”) has your children for eight hours out of the day, 9 months a year (and if you send them to “college”, the process is solidified there). And unfortunately, it is impossible to TRANSFER one’s life experiences to our children. Yes, you can talk to them, but that is not the same thing. The Frankfurt School knew what they were doing when they advocated that “Long March” through the institutions of culture. At this point the damage cannot be reversed.

    • I’ll repeat it again, of all places, CNN did an hour segment on North Korea recently (travel and such) and while most of it was ‘canned’ the educational system was striking. Exactly as Mr./Ms. (?) Odie has described – no way those kids (and how many generations now?) are ever coming back or otherwise able to be thinking human beings. These folks know what they’re doing ………. take note.

    • Correct. We already lost, obviously.

      • no,

        you have already lost.

        • Want to feed your kids?

You work for the Jew. One way or another.

We’re on the same page, Haxo.

When will anyone talk about confiscation?

I hope (((they))) impeach AND CONVICT Trump, just to see what happens next.

      • And yet, here we are.

You can 3D print you own suicide pod if fighting for your freedom (and not even with bullets, at the moment) is too scary for you…

  6. As Matt Bracken has pointed out, if brainwashing didn’t work (on Millennials, etc.) “they” wouldn’t be doing it.

Most recent high school graduates think that the United States is a “democracy”. Twelve years (per pupil) of public funds being used for public education, and most of these recent high school graduates will look at you as if you’re a nut when you attempt to explain that the U.S.A. is better described as a constitutional republic, not a democracy.

constructive fraud: “When the circumstances show that someone’s actions gives him/her an unfair advantage over another by unfair means (lying or not telling a buyer about defects in a product, for example), the court may decide from the methods used and the result that it should treat the situation as if there was actual fraud even if all the technical elements of fraud have not been proven.”

  7. I wouldn’t worry too much about the Franfurters and their Long March. Things here are radically different from both Russia and China when they bought ( or to be more precise, murdered) into the communist horse shit. Huge differences in the standard of living, and an armed populace are only two points, Hundreds of others exist. And all of them account for fatal stumbling blocks that the left will sooner or later encounter. The idea of beggaring the population in order to enslave them, and make them totally dependent on the state SOUNDS like a plan to the left, but once you’ve brought the cup to the lips of a people, they only thirst for more when it’s withdrawn. Add to that the vast masses of people already opposed, and you’ve got a failed revolution. They may be optimistic about their chances, and that is a fatal flaw too. Notice I’ve not said it would be easy for anyone.

    • Jimmy the Saint

“Huge differences in the standard of living,”

They’ve adapted to that – the Chicoms basically opt for Communism + Consumer Goods. They’ve just added a little Huxley to Marx and Mao.

  8. Most of the millennials who should read that wouldn’t have a problem with denouncing religion in order to join the party and enjoying benefits above the deplorable class.

How do they read the sign? it appears to be in some kind of foreign language, is this a normal thing? No wonder no one gets anything done.

  10. The drones camp out for chinamart crap door busters on Black Friday, They’ll have no problem lining up for a chance to buy a loaf of stale bread when the time comes. As long as cable tv works others think for them, they’ll get buy.

  11. “Communism is a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.
The means of production belongs to the collective state rather than the individual. The individual himself actually belongs to the state as well because the individual is also the means of production. In a communist government the state is the Father and Mother of the people and the people enjoy the liberty of choice by the permission of the state as a member of a collective.
    Communism is also defined as:
    1. A theoretical economic system characterized by the collective] ownership of property and by the organization of labor for the common advantage of all members.
    2. Communism
    a. A system of government in which the state plans and controls the economy and a single, often authoritarian party holds power, claiming to make progress toward a higher social order in which all goods are equally shared by the people.
    b. The Marxist-Leninist doctrine advocating revolution to overthrow the capitalist system and establish a dictatorship of the proletariat that will eventually evolve into a perfectly egalitarian and communal society.
Karl Marx, who was an original advocate of communism, claimed “Democracy is the road to socialism.”
In order to lock people into a communist state force would be required, hence the use of an iron curtain to keep people in most communist countries until socialism becomes a way of life.

Capitalism has not failed the people. The people failed capitalism:
    When in 1910 51% of the people started sending their children to public schools which is socialism;
    When in 1913 people started accepting three party debt notes as if they were capital;
    When in 1933 people looked to a system of social security to provide for their parents;
When in 1964 LBJ began a war on poverty with tax dollars.
: If capitalism is “the private ownership, control and operation of the means of production and their beneficial use” then there is no real capitalism in the world today. Heavy progressive taxation of labor and land does not exist in real capitalism.
Communists and socialists often blame capitalism for the failures in society when these abuses of power are generally a direct result of a move away from true capitalism toward socialism and communism. If there was no forced taxation on labor nor right of the government to wage war and draft the people there would be no military industrial complex. All the ills of society can be traced to either sloth and covetousness and the desire or willingness to grant power to an individual or collective to make choices for the people.
The United States has been becoming less and less capitalist to the point where there is little left but pseudo capitalism in America. It has been becoming a Socialist society for the better part of the 1900’s while claiming to be a capitalist nation. After 1910, the majority of people growing up in America began to get educated in public schools teaching ‘humanism’ and social ‘democracy’. Free education for all children in government schools is the tenth plank of Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto. Governments have wanted to use Schools as Tools for centuries, and the people have allowed it just to get something free at the expense of their neighbor. They will pay dearly for it.”

Was a guest of the USSR for a time as part of a student exchange.

A lot of the people wishing for communism will be very, very upset when they get it. These same people often love porn, drugs, and other pursuits that would be quickly outlawed as “decadent”. The Left loves LGBTQWERTY stuff; communist states….don’t, and in some cases *really* don’t. Edgy movies and music? Nah, communist countries hate that shit, too.

They’d get the government that they want, but lose everything that they love.

    • So many clueless Boomer normies here.

You describe white fascism, which commies would hate, which is a good thing.

It’s called white standards or decency. Read Ford.

  15. James W. King

Star Parker, a noted African-American author and former president of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education, calling on her own experience, Parker writes: “A benevolent Uncle Sam welcomed mostly poor black Americans onto the government plantation. … Instead of solving economic problems, government welfare socialism created monstrous moral and spiritual problems. … The legacy of American socialism is our blighted inner cities, dysfunctional inner city schools, and broken black families.”

Buzzwords like “Inequality” and “unfair distribution” are words set to condition us into accepting socialism and communism.

People in Venezuela are protesting in the streets against socialism and have lost an average of 18 pounds each due to hunger but in America ignorant foolish liberals are promoting socialism and in a recent poll 50% preferred to live under socialism instead of capitalism.

Most people have little idea what COMMUNISM is.
It is the planned destruction of morality, religion, knowledge and God’s order. Instead these noble goals are substituted with the promotion of depravity, focusing on sex, especially perverted sex, various forms of economic, mental and emotional slavery, a denial that God exists and total submission to the State, which spies on all actions and behaviors of citizens through all media and means possible. It also includes seizure of all wealth and resources by the State.

It promotes destruction of the family, forcing mothers out of homes into the workplace or onto public assistance with children being raised by government-sanctioned childcare providers and receiving government mandated medical procedures with which the parents may disagree. It encourages divorce and women having children (that are not aborted) by multiple partners instead of celebrating a traditional, religous-based family unit.

It includes education about politically correct subjects such as the LGBT agenda, ‘sex education’ that includes perverted sex, dumbed down schools, curricula designed to make students feel stupid rather than actually teaching subjects of value designed to engender critical thinking. It includes abortion on demand with the goal of killing as many babies as possible, including those ready to be born.

It celebrates medical procedures that maim and kill while milking taxpayers to pay for these ills created by the pharmaceutical-medical profession and by devitalized, un-natural foods that cause chronic illnesses that need to be expensively ‘managed’, but which eventually kill people needlessly. It promotes use of drugs both legal and illegal.

It teaches that God does not exist; that humans can do what they will with no remorse or consequences for any kind of behavior as long as their actions do not challenge State supremacy and hierarchy.

It promotes enslavement of people through usury (compound interest) that can never be paid back, leading to perpetual economic slavery.

Control is exercised through central, top-down, one-size-fits-all planning of people’s lives economically, physically, mentally and emotionally.

The Christian religion has been especially targeted, as it is based on enumerated laws of conduct that follow God’s law and create order and stability in society, but other religions will also be expunged.

Then, as directed by Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto, Communism mandates the outright killing of all who disagree with this hedonistic, debased philosophy based on man-made law, not God’s law as well as those who are no longer ‘useful’. Note that Marx was related to the Zionist Rothchild bankers who subsidized the development and implementation of his (and their) ideology of evil with the goal of developing a one world government where all national borders are dissolved and humans are managed as ‘resources’.
