The transnational socialist POV is always of “more”: more laws, more regulation, more voting, more programs, more spending, more ‘liberation’, more public employees, more taxes, more government.
The traditionalists look to the opposite: Less government, less taxation, fewer laws and regulations, less democracy, less media concentration, less license, less omnisurveillance, less tyranny by the alleged Elites.
Irreconcilable visions, in fact.
One must win.
And the other must lose.
