    Coates, Wray, and Rosenswein either comply with orders, or they all get fired for rank insubordination; Sessions is liable to be either shelved (somewhere like DHS) and swapped with someone who’ll do the job, or also shitcanned outright.

    Either way, that takes Mueller and his two-year off-Broadway shitshow out of play, as the AG/DAG successor(s) will fire him in a New York minute, and suddenly, his role in covering for both Obozo and Shrillary’s shenanigans is wide open, and he goes from prosecutor to subject of the investigation.

    Suddenly, there’s a DoJ again, and the shit running down britches in Mordor-On-The-Potomac makes San Franshitsco streets smell sweet by contrast.

    And as I said this morning, the letter from the (D) half of the Gang Of Eight means that those three executive branch guys, and the four congressional shitweasel letter authors, are now subject to federal arrest for conspiracy to withhold information at any time.

    If a court decides it’s also a seditious conspiracy, which it is, they’re looking at 10-20 in SuperMax pound-you-in-the-ass federal prison, not mowing golf courses for ClubFed.

    Or…not.

    In which case we’re as liable as not, i.e it’s a 50/50 chance, to be trading lead in both directions by the end of the year. The desperation on the other side leads me to believe they’ve got nothing else left to play in their hand but open violence.

    Time will tell.

    Personally, I’d go long on ammunition and ancillary logistics, but I’m an incurable optimist.

Sessions is doing exactly what Trump wants him to do; if he weren’t he would’ve been gone a long, long time ago. When’s the last time you saw a sitting president publicly fighting with his AG? Never. I have a feeling things are going to get sporty, and what Trump has done, by positioning Sessions as a darling of the Left, is that when Sessions does go full-throttle, the Left is going to have to eats its own words in order to tear him down. But by then it will be too late.

        Sessions is never going to go “full throttle”. Him catatonic IS “full throttle: for him.
        He’s an incompetent boob, and both loyalty, and the relative power of the Deep State, in both parties, prevents Trump from contemplating a simple meat-axe swinging reign of terror, despite how much such an approach is long past being needed.

        Any counsel to the contrary is simply nonsensical, and completely contrary to all available evidence.

        The rats are cavorting on his body, and you couldn’t get Jeffie out of his coma with a lit blowtorch up his ass.

          As you adroitly pointed out, there’s plenty of precedent for firing AG’s. If Trump wanted him gone, he’d be gone. But he ain’t. And there’s reason for that.

I understand Martial Law and Trump himself along with a squad of USMC MP’S in full battle-rattle, locked and loaded, marching into FBI HQ and seizing those involved in this treason.
