Tracking the data as is comes out (excluding China) on the Johns Hopkins coronavirus map (https://gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6), the time it takes for the # of infected to double is now at 4.23 days.

At this time, CDC says we have 1323 confirmed cases in the USA.

IF we believe the CDC numbers for the USA, this tends to indicate that we had 20 infected people in America, back on 2/13. This ALSO means we’ll break 1 million sick by April 19. With 20% needing hospitalization, and using Aesops’ observations, it will be around this time that the hospitals are simply overwhelmed.

If we assume the CDC numbers are off by a factor of only four (i.e., not 1323 cases confirmed, but 5000 actual) at this time, We break the 1 million mark (and overwhelming of hospitals) by ~4/13.

If we assume CDC numbers are off by a factor of ten- 13,000 people actually infected- we hit the wall with hospitals about 4/8.

The other 330 million people infected AFTER the data where the hospitals are overwhelmed, are ON THEIR OWN.

The efforts by .gov to quarantine, to “slow” the virus, “mitigate risk” or whatever bullshit terminology they want to use, DON’T MATTER. This monster cannot be stopped, at this point. Unless you plan on being in a bunker for the next 6 months, you’re GOING to be exposed.

Recognizing that all the .gov efforts will be useless, and that there’s nowhere to run to, to escape the virus, don’t take it out on the .gov agents who are tasked with enacting those .gov efforts. They don’t KNOW that it’s a waste of time.

As painful as the next few months will be, this is also a good opportunity to help your neighbors, build your “clan,” and restore a sense of community that has been lost over the last… 50 years, or so. Understanding that we’re all going to be exposed, there’s no need to FEAR exposure to the virus; it’s going to happen, you and everybody you know. So stow the apprehension. Protect you and yours, and then help your community.

The politics of the last few years have demonstrated the stupidity and fecklessness of “leadership” coming from D.C. Even our Senators and Congress-critters have to get together on a Saturday night to share a brain. State governments are NO better. It comes down to LOCAL politics, LOCAL leadership.

The virus isn’t the threat… The threat is the 2nd and 3rd-order effects. Be READY for them, ANTICIPATE them. Your neighbors and community will NEED a leader, a REAL leader, not a shit-talking politician who kisses babies while stealing their candy. You’re in a situation where you CAN be the leader that your community will desperately need.

[Geez, it seems like I’m giving a “rah-rah” speech… LMAO. I NEVER thought I’d write something like this… who knew?]

Great post. Thanks for taking the time to write this. The importance of knowing your neighbors cannot be overstated.

  2. Gee it’s almost like you’re leading like your’e encouraging others to do. I agree this is the right way to look at it; it is very unlikely anyone can do much to avoid it at this point. Working in profession where I am coughed on, sneezed on and puked on by kids every day (aka asymptomatic carriers), there is no way I’m not getting it.

I imagine most of the visitors to this site have at one point or another bitched about the normies in our life not “getting it.” Be glad they are starting to see it too. If we’re the ones who supposedly have been seeing the writing on the wall longer, it’s time to see whether you actually did something with that fore knowledge or were just bitching & LARPing….

  3. Thanks again!

OT: Fed just puked up 1.5 trillion. Cause muh stawks must always have a floor.

The fuck they don’t! Fuck those statist, communist, treasonous, seditious, criminal, Uniparty turds……the rulers, their political class functionaries, their foot-soldier minions, FUCK THEM ALL!

  5. “IF we believe the CDC numbers for the USA,… we’ll break 1 million sick by April 19.”

‘IF we believe the CDC numbers’ is a big if; but if we do, that’s a doubling time of about every 1.5 weeks. At that rate, with no effective measures to stop the spread, we’ll be at about 35,000 by April 19. But, we will be over a quarter million by late May, and about 4 million by Late July.

Coronavirus: Do Not Fear the Bogeyman
    By Dr Bruce H. Lipton

The world is currently gripped in fear of the scary coronavirus. Let’s first get one fact clear: If you have ever had a cold or flu in your life, odds are that it was the result of a coronavirus infection. Yes, coronaviruses cause colds.

But, we are being programmed with the belief that this particular cold virus is “deadly.” This fear has shut down concerts, conferences, and major public events all over the world. The fear has led to quarantines and closing down of international travel. It has even led to a major scarcity of toilet paper in Australia, were concerned citizens emptied the shelves of this commodity in anticipation that they will be walled up in their homes with this infection.

First, how deadly is this version of the virus? Yes, there have been corona-related deaths reported with the statistics suggesting that ~2% of the infected population dies. Wow! That number is almost 1% more deaths than are attributed to any conventional flu the world experiences. What is misleading is the fear that everyone who carries this virus may die from their cold. This is simply untrue! The health of almost all the victims of this coronavirus was already compromised before they were infected.

For example, the following information was provided by the news in regard to the 6 patients that died of the virus in the state of Washington last week (I added the bold print):

    Washington State

Six people have died in Washington and health officials have identified 18 cases.

Four of the cases in King County were linked to the Life Care nursing facility in Kirkland. More than 50 residents and staff at the facility are being tested.

The deaths announced Monday, according to health officials, included:

-A male in his 70s, who lived at LifeCare. He had underlying health conditions and died Sunday.

-A female resident of LifeCare in her 70s. She also had underlying health conditions and died Sunday.

-A woman in her 80s, who was already reported as in critical condition at EvergreenHealth, died Sunday.

-A Snohomish County resident at EvergreenHealth also died but details of that patient have not been given.

Two previously reported deaths included a man in his 70s who had underlying health conditions and had been a resident of LifeCare. He died at EvergreenHealth on Feb. 29. The other was a man in his 50s with underlying health conditions. He was admitted with serious respiratory issues and tested positive for the virus. He died at EvergreenHealth Medical Center in Kirkland.

As emphasized in this report, the health of all those that died with the coronavirus was already compromised. Healthy people get cold and flu symptoms, while those already sick and near death’s door may experience the “Grim Reaper” when infected by the virus. True, sick people are more vulnerable to the virus; healthy people really have nothing to fear.

As presented in The Biology of Belief, stress is responsible for up to 90% of illness, including heart disease, cancer and diabetes. When an individual is in stress, the release of stress hormones (e.g., cortisol) shuts down the immune system to conserve the body’s energy for running away from the perceived stressor, that proverbial “saber-toothed tiger.” Stress hormones are so effective at compromising the immune system, that physicians therapeutically provide recipients of organ transplants with stress hormones to prevent their immune system from rejecting the foreign implant.

The conclusion is clear: The fear of the coronavirus is more deadly than the virus itself!

The media (perhaps in conjunction with the pharmaceutical industry) is compromising people’s health using the fear card! This is the result of negative thinking (the nocebo effect) which is the complete opposite of the placebo effect manifest through positive thinking! If you make efforts to stay healthy, with good nutrition, exercise, taking vitamins and supplements, and more importantly, avoiding stress (e.g., the “fear” of the virus), even if you do get infected with the virus, you will likely only end up with a cold and/or slight fever.

If you are someone with a compromised immune system, it is supportive to surround yourself with loving family and friends, nature, and positive thoughts as well as any other nutrition and vitamins that you may already be taking for your health and wellbeing. Following your intuition about what is best for you is key! The point here is that no matter who you are and what your state of health, you will only benefit from steering clear of the fear and supporting yourself in whatever way feels best to you.

Please remember the truth of quantum physics, the most valid of all sciences on the planet: Consciousness is creating your life experiences! Are you being conscious of disease … or of health?

    • Well, “black rain” fell in Japan, as evidenced by numerous videos and pictures, an event that hasn’t been seen there since Hiroshima and Nagasaki sent up an abundance of organic ash.

Satellite images have shown massive plumes of SO2, the by-product of burning organic materiel at high temperature. Reports of mobile crematories chugging day and night in China, maybe true maybe false.

Wind currents flow west to east.

      It’s just the flu, doc…

    • “Wow! That number is almost 1% more deaths than are attributed to any conventional flu the world experiences.”

      This fucker is lying.

That’s not 1% more than the flu (which is 0.1%). That’s TWENTY TIMES more.

And that’s assuming the 2% number is even correct, and it is based on the data out of China, which is KNOWN to be utterly fabricated.

(For at least a week, maybe several, the number of fatalities the Chinese were reporting was a mathematically precise 2.1% of the number of new infections they were reporting. That was noted on WRSA. NOBODY who reads this site should be taking any numbers based on Chinese data as anything more than wild-ass guesses.)

    • Bog-standard coronavirus is 20-40X more deadly than flu. 2-4%, versus 0.1%. Since forever. Averaging that CFR to 3%, we’re back to apocalypse math.
      3% of 100M people is 3M dead.
For reference, we lose 2.6M people in America every year, from old age, heart attacks, strokes, trauma, snake bites, lightning strikes, and sheer stupidity, combined.
So if 100M people are infected, one can expect 3M will likely die just from that.
Another 10M or so will likely need hospitalization, which is 9,000,000 more people than the total number of staffed hospital beds in the entire country.
And we will not be putting bunk beds in the hospital or ICU.

For the other 87M or so, it will be a debilitating couple of weeks to a month, yes. For a subset of that, they may not even be symptomatic (while they carry the plague to their elders and unknowingly kill them off accidentally).
Except with all medical care for everyone, for everything, gone.

Jackholes, with or without white coats, that can’t figure that out in 0.2 seconds without a helpful 2×4 to the head are how we got this fucked.

It’s why Italy’s healthcare has collapsed, and they’re triaging older patients right to the fucking curb, now, today.
      Arrivederci, grandpa! Good luck!
Not maybe, not might be, ARE. TODAY.
(What is that jackass a doctor of, podiatry? Or sociology?)

Which is also why I suspect TPTB are going to have to open FEMA-care Kung Flu Treatment Centers, and hospitals will send all persons with URI symptoms (fever, cough, etc.) to them as soon as they’re detected.
If they don’t do that, just like Italy is experiencing now, all healthcare everywhere, for everything, gets overwhelmed, and collapses completely, which means everything is fatal, going forward. Heart attacks, strokes, car accidents, shootings, stabbings, appendicitis, all of it. No hospitals, no help.

TPTB may be too stupid to realize that, or they may not.
Which way they go on this will tell you the herd IQ of TPTB.

And if we leave hospitals to deal with this (while they can) 1/4 to 3/4 of medical staff will likely become infected and unavailable. (Oh, BTW, the average age of an RN in the U.S. is 50.
There’s a shortage now. Has been since the 1970s. Will be until the 2060s. Now, add in Kung Flu killing them off, and try medicine without nurses. It’s been tried before: Google the Crimean War. 60% casualties, to all sides, mostly from preventable deaths from disease. Fun times.)

And if the CFR is higher than 3%, or this really is a bio-engineered frankenvirus worse than normal, and/or it gets to more than 100M people, Katy bar the door.

All of this is napkin math on sportscasting the apocalypse. The math and logic are accessible to anyone who’s passed the sixth grade, even from public education. If someone with a doctorate can’t figure it out, or somebody dropped out in the fourth grade, I can’t help them.

Posting contrarian bullshit about “staying happy” from some asswipe whose rosy assumptions and normalcy bias have been overtaken by actual events in western countries with a free press isn’t helping anyone, unless you needed your daily fix of “Kick The Jackass In The Nuts”.

Nailed it. Now is the time to do what needs to be done. The window has opened. Either WE will take advantage of the covid-19 situation or squander it. IF you consider this is as an opportunity for the feds to show that THEY can, and will, “protect the people” (whether or not WE want it) better than WE the people can, and a chance for the govt to prove once and for all that “THEY” not “WE” are indeed the ultimate parent for the people, then you deserve all you get. Yes you can take comfort in the fact that there are military personnel on the streets enforcing quarantines in NYC, more $ to fema, door to door gun confiscations, albeit not yet, (reference Katrina), et al. Consider that popo et al have a family as well. Therefore, do unto others as they have done unto you. One small example Road stop by popo …Well officer I was on my way to get tested for COV-19. Cops come to your door for weapons …………..Officer WE’RE quarantined but you can wait right here in my house while you get a warrant. Covid-19 is serious. However ironic it is, this provides the perfect opportunity to effect ( affect ) change. Negate the power of the states enforcers. God speed all.

What coronavirus fears? Disneyland visitors pour in and focus on fun

“Jenny Reyes didn’t think about the coronavirus until she stepped out of her friend’s car at Disneyland’s parking lot in Anaheim, the second-most visited theme park in the world.

On the escalator, the Boston resident took notice of the handrail.

“Don’t touch that, don’t touch that,” she told herself.

But the moment was fleeting. At the bottom of the escalator, her friend Anna Maltez of Long Beach snapped a photo of Reyes standing by a globe structure shaped like Mickey Mouse’s ears.

Concerns about coronavirus, and California’s declaration of a state of emergency, were not going to stop Reyes from visiting the “Happiest Place on Earth.”

“It’s more about trying to be conscious of the things you touch,” Reyes said.

As the number of coronavirus cases rose in the United States and some conferences and public events were canceled, thousands of residents and travelers continue to make their way to Disneyland.”

Disneyland, Disney World, Disneyland Paris closing through end of March amid coronavirus fears

Disney is closing the rest of its theme parks, in addition to the already shuttered parks across Tokyo, Hong Kong and Shanghai remaining shut.

“Disney is temporarily closing Disneyland in California during ongoing concerns about the spread of the novel coronavirus. It’ll be shutting the doors of the Disneyland and California Adventure theme parks from Saturday, March 14, through the end of the month. The Downtown Disney shopping and dining area will remain open. Disney’s three hotels at Disneyland — the Disneyland Hotel, Paradise Pier and the Grand Californian — will remain open until March 16 to allow for guests to make travel plans.

The decision to close down followed California Gov. Gavin Newsom saying that all gatherings of more than 250 people across California should be canceled for the month of March. Earlier Thursday, Newsom said at a press conference that the ban on gatherings wouldn’t apply to the Disney parks or to casinos, card rooms or theaters “because of the complexity of their unique circumstances.” Newsom said he’d spoken with former Disney CEO Bob Iger on March 11, and had decided the Disney theme parks in Anaheim could remain open.”

Naaah, go back thru time and see who changed their ways after something like this. A week after the last 1918 flu patient died, they charged headlong into the Roaring 20’s and fell flat on their faces in ’29. Of course that was also a planned disaster by the banksters.
Nobody learned a thing. and the normies will always be normies, even in ancient Greece and Rome they were normies that were looking for someone else to think for them.

    • Remember Y2K? “Hey, nothing happened, it was all bullshit!”

Ignoring the tremendous amount of work that went into FIXING the problem in the years leading up to it. If that work had not been done, what would have happened?

Same principle here. You’re dealing with a tremendously complex system and best estimates indicate bad things ahead. So you work desperately to avoid or mitigate the bad things. If the bad things don’t pan out, was the work effective? How can you tell?

This is why software testers are the red-headed stepchildren of software development and are never taken seriously, and why the software you buy is always buggy crap that only starts working after the third patch.

If this all fizzles I’ll be glad to have been wrong about it. If it turns out just to be a mild summer flu I’ll be glad about that too. There is plenty of reason to think it will be worse than that and plenty of reason to justify taking all the drastic actions being taken, and if the bad things don’t happen, that doesn’t mean the drastic actions were a bad idea.

  10. HJ Richards

great speech, unless you happen to be in the over 60, or 70 category then you are staring death in the face. No rara here just leave me the fuck alone and stay away from me. I have what I need and can survive for quite a while but stupid people just keep screwing everything up because they don’t give a shit about anyone or anything. In Italy if you are over 60 hospitals and doctors will not even look at you, great huh

    • Haxo has been “staring death in the face” for more than (lesseee, 1940s thru 2020’s….) yes, that’s it, 8 decades. As the Jap correctly said (that’s Jap as in Japanese, not Jewish American Princess)

“death is lighter than a feather….
      ….duty heavier than a mountain.”

  11. So here is a question that no one seems to have asked: what if you or someone close does ‘get it’ or shows symptions? Maybe went to the local hospital (here it is a small ‘regional’ outfit) and they in turn sent you home. What are the ‘in home’ treatment options? I realize there are variables (age, severity, etc.) but treatment might be good to know.
As an aside, where we live, we could in a pinch do light surgery (partner was an ER nurse, we vet large animals and I’m an ex-vet [Marine]) so this type of thing is not adverse to us out here. Assuming at one does have gloves, masks (think long time prepared) what are the recommended treatment modalities? Would appreciate Asope or other medical professionals chime in and make their best recommendations.

  12. You live or you die. Its always been that way, just most in modern society attempt to deny it. There is nothing wrong with postponing the die part, just don’t assume you are Keith Richards lucky on that score.

Well I don’t know what is going to happen boys. I fear the stupid more than the Kung Flu but we are certainly going into uncharted territory here.
I am mostly planning on how I am going to spend 30 days in quarantine so I am gathering some things for that but otherwise its getting accustomed to the idea that we are going to see this country shut down for several weeks with nothing but essential people moving. I think you need to print out those SOI’s for AMMRON or the CoronaNet and be ready to have that as alternate coms in case of wireline network failures.
Do your Pre Combat Inspections and Checks. Load your mags and lube your rifles assuming you have not done this already.
    Remember your training.

First great article, also I have read some great responses, I wonder however how does farrs law play into this event? I dont know really much about farrs law other then whatever I have read in quotations below. Does anybody reading have a good understanding of the law and how does it apply to this outbreak? China is the origin of the virus and still accounts for over 80 percent of cases and deaths. But its cases peaked and began declining more than a month ago, according to data presented by the Canadian epidemiologist who spearheaded the World Health Organization’s coronavirus mission to China. Fewer than 200 new cases are reported daily, down from a peak of 4,000.

Subsequent countries will follow this same pattern, in what’s called Farr’s Law. First formulated in 1840 and ignored in every epidemic hysteria since, the law states that epidemics tend to rise and fall in a roughly symmetrical pattern or bell-shaped curve. AIDS, SARS, Ebola — they all followed that pattern. So does seasonal flu each year.

The full name is Farr’s Law of Epidemics and, as Fumento points out, it’s been around since 1840, accurately predicting the rise and fall of various epidemics including AIDS, SARS and Ebola.

    • Black rain in Japan.

Wonder what pre/post population headcounts are in China?

    • “Data”.

Got TV pics from independent sources (not the ABCNNBCBS FakeNews networks that covered up the real Tiananmen Massacre stats – another number which we’ll never accurately guess) of millions of carefree Chinese, sans any masks, milling about in the streets nationwide, and factories humming, piling up goods to ship out, do you?

And were the Canadian WHO team left free to wander hither and yon, collecting accurate “data”?

      Thought not.

This got out of one of their Wuhan bio-war labs, and Xi’s pissed about it, and you won’t know how pissed until a year from now, when certain familiar faces are no longer around to pose for annual politburo pictures and show up at state visits, because they’re now agricultural supplements in the interior provinces.

But I believe China’s population peaked, and began declining, more than a month ago. How low it’s going to go is anyone’s guess.
      The Kung Flu?
      Probably not so much.

      Stop whistling past the graveyard.

When this is over, you’ll know it, and you won’t need to hang your hopes on the thin reed of WHO accuracy in reporting epidemics.

Please, stop with “data” from China.
It’s a mountain of pony shit, and there’s no pony underneath it all.
