Have one for my 19. With CCI MiniMags it runs great and makes a fun little shooter for noobs

  2. Even when using quality ammo like Lapua or CCI Green Label, the Advantage Arms Glock conversion requires frequent cleaning, especially when using a can. Their threaded barrel will not stabilize Aguila SSS 60gn projectiles.

  3. If you can afford it.. I’ll stick with my Rugers, thank you….

Friend of mine has a Ciener 1911 conversion kit, wasn’t too impressed with it. I have shot the eye out of a grouse at 25′, consistently make head shots with my 6″ Ruger Mk III. The 22/45 not so good.
      Instead, I bought a new 9mm bbl and 3 mags for $100 last month for my G23 .40 S&W. Now it’s a G19/G23.

  4. Y would you want to do that a .40 pistola?

  5. I owned one for many years, desperately wanted it to be reliable. It was a POS! Anything other than the 2-3 types of ammo it liked and it would misfeed. Shot 5k rounds through it hoping it would break in, different mags, lube, polishing etc. Just garbage.Recently sold it for a Glock 44, much better….

Agreed on the Ciener 1911 conversion, meh.

CMMG AR 15 22 conversion however is the tits. Mine has pinged an 8″ plate at 200 yards 3 out of 5, with the 2 misses being good enough for government work.

  8. I have the Ceiner, Advantage and Wilson 22 conversion units. Of the three the Advantage is the best because it locks open on the last round.

I am currently practicing with a Sig 2022 top end for my sig 220. It eats anything, locks open on the last round and shoots 2” groups. I shoot about a thousand a week.

I had a Sig 22 top end that would not hit the broad side of a barn if you were standing beside it. I sent it back to sig and they replaced it with one that worked.

Though I am enjoying the 220 w/ 2022 top end, I prefer to use a dedicated pistol.
